I like staying at this hotel. The staff is always very nice, it’s clean and smells good. The pool area is nice. My only complaint is the soda’s in the market are expired. The ice cream bars have melted & then refrozen. $7 for a can of expired soda and melted ice cream is a little absurd. Otherwise, the bar was open, breakfast was great. Beds are comfy. It’s my favorite place to stay in the area.

Nice place overall but very hard to sleep as a train comes by a couple of times during the overnight hours and blows its horn. Also some other strange sounds randomly through the night we couldn’t quite figure out what it was.

It’s beautiful. Check-in was easy, staff if very friendly. Room is clean, beds are comfy, bathroom is clean. It’s really quite nice.

This property was very clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast wasn't very good quality. The fridge in our room was also very loud. Overall, good experience, especially for the price.

I asked the staff to clean a stain on my wall next to the bed where my arm stick to the wall and on the 5 th day I cleaned it.. Bed was hard as a rock.. no water in the room shower doors were dirty. Could only get 1 flat extra pillow for my leg.. I'm disabled and they wouldn't give us a room with a handicapped bathroom.. Breakfast was awful... Worst BW we ever stayed at and we are members.....

The staff ALL very nice! Loved the shower and my kids loved the hotel. Good breakfast and nice beds! One of our new favorites for sure!!

Helpful and friendly
Our stay was good. The street leading into the motel could have been cleared of snow better but it is winter in Iowa. We had to cut the stay short as an ice storm was headed our way but the motel was very understanding about everything. We had a little trouble with the tv but a young man from the front desk came up and helped get thing straightened out.

The morning staff was incredible. The night staff was absolutely horrid. Half of the time, there was not anyone at the front desk for requests, check-in, or just general inquiries. On Christmas night, there was not an attendant at the front desk. Instead, there was instructions to dial a specific number. Once I called this number, I asked for a baby crib as I have 6-month old baby that needed a place to sleep. They told me that they only had 1 crib and that it was in use? Earlier in the morning, I verified with the morning staff that there was no children needing a crib in the hotel as I would have my baby with me later that evening. The night attendant was offsite and did not want to do his job and service the customer. The night before, I was told that the staff could not give out extra pillows. The night attendant shared that there was only 4 rooms being utilized that night. So why could they not give us any extra pillows? Apparently, there is a “policy” that states that a bed cannot have more than 4 pillows per bed. The pillows were flat hence why we needed more on top of having kids with us. Much higher rated and well-renowned hotels give out extra pillows, but the best western plus cannot? It appeared that the attendant was more interested in not doing their work rather than helping the customer, again. I will never stay here again and will not recommend.
