Initially, no communication about how to access property until a 2 hour phone call with VRBO to obtain door code. Upon arrival, back door did not lock. I reached out and received an immediate response that maintenance would be called. Owner did send someone out a couple days later, but it could not be fixed during our stay. We got a 2x4 and cut it down to place in door track to secure the property during our stay. Thank goodness we had a relative close with a table saw, so we could feel safe during our stay. The home is pet friendly, but I wasn't prepared for the bad pet odor coming from the couch. The couch was also very uncomfortable, so I just chose not to sit on it during my stay. Only 4 towels, no wash cloths, were provided for a 5 night stay with 3 people and no washing machine in guest accessible area. I'm assuming it was in the garage but there was a sign that said "Restricted Area, No Guest Access Authorized Use Only." There were no paper towels left and no dish towels to wash/dry dishes (only a used sponge left at dish sink). I ended up going to Walmart and purchasing $100 worth of stuff (towels, wash cloths, paper towels, dish cloths, etc). Another thing to note is that there is not a microwave at this location, although this was not listed as an amenity; I just overlooked that in the listing. On the positive, the bathrooms were recently updated and were nice, and the beds were very comfortable. We made it work for our stay but would not book this home again.
