Perfect stay!

enjoyed the location ski in and Ski out.
When checking in at 4pm. Parking seemed to be over crowed. I'm sure some vehicles were not from the building. Window parking passes may have been helpful in our check in Envelop. Called the building manager about the parking situation. Our parking pass was missing. We had to go back to the office to pick up parking pass. They were very apologetic about the parking situation. I felt some locals were taking advantage of the covered parking at the building especially on Saturday. They were cooking breakfast in front of their car.

While basic this condo has everything we needed. Parking spaces are tight. Walk to the Eagle lift is about 100 yards.

Copper Triangle Digs
In the area for the Copper Triangle ride, this location was a convenient spot to get to the start. It was comfortable and met our needs. No surprises, we had everything we needed within walking distance.

Nice location but needs improvement
The location of this property is great. However, the parking is terrible (SUPER tight spots that are always full), the elevator was out of order for half our stay, our unit wouldn’t get any warmer than 62 degrees, and the kitchen cabinet drawers are lethal!! So parking is terrible, we drive a large SUV and couldn’t even fit into the tight spots! There is no luggage cart to haul up all your ski gear. The apartment was super COLD. When I called at 6:30 am I was told they’d have someone there within 30 minutes…. 7 hours later someone came to fix it. My husband had to eat breakfast in a hat and ski coat! It was ridiculous! The stairs were super fun to navigate in ski boots when the elevator was out of commission! Finally the kitchen cabinets do not have anything to prevent them from being pulled out completely! It’s very easy to pull the drawer completely out tumbling all the silverware and knifes onto your feet! Super fun, if you find that your toes are nearly for show!! This building needs some serious upgrades and the unit itself needs improvement!

Super convenient
We had plenty of space and all amenities needed. Nice king bed; great location - fun to watch the groomers drive by outside our balcony in the evenings. The carpet could use deep cleaning or replacing. Garage parking is convenient but spaces are VERY small. The heat never seemed to get above 65 even though we kept turning up the thermostat. There is a space heater (I think) in the closet, but didn't use it. Enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Location
This was a perfect location for our long weekend music festival getaway. Although a little dated, the property was very clean. Our only issue was that water started leaking into the bathroom from an above unit on our last night. The response from management was fairly quick, even if there wasn’t much they could do about it at the time.

Needs work & updates
We loved the amenities of Iron Horse, especially the pool, and the location, but the condo was very much lacking. Master bedroom bed was so uncomfortable that after 2 nights we started sleeping on the Murphy bed in the living room. It was much better but we made it work but sleeping the opposite direction as how the bed had been made. The couch we even more uncomfortable!!! It definitely needs to find a new home at the dump. The longer we were there the more broken things we found. Doesn’t seem to have had any TLC in years. We knew the bathrooms were dated from the pictures but sure hadn’t counted on the broken down furniture, top dishwasher rack, dining table chair, tile in the kitchen and bathroom, closet doors, trim work falling off, and so much more. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this condo unless repairs and upgrades are made. It holds so much potential, hopefully the owners will fix it up soon.

Ideal Vacation for Us
My husband and I love to ski at Copper Mountain and look forward to vacationing there every year. We really enjoyed our VRBO condo where we stayed in late February/early March 2022. The condo was comfortable, clean, and functional. The location was ideal: close to the Center Village ski lifts and restaurants. The parking is free although the lot and parking spaces are small. Therefore, we were glad we could park our car in the underground lot and walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Communication with Copper Vacations and the VRBO owner couldn't have been better. I called Copper Vacations before and during our stay to clarify check in, checkout procedures and parking. They were very friendly and helpful, We texted the VRBO owner on the first morning because the cord had been shoved inside the coffee maker. He texted us right back saying that he would get a new coffee pot to us and we received it that morning. Overall, we were very happy with the condo and hope to stay there again.

Excellent location, just what we hoped for
So close to everything! Rentals, locker, restaurants, lift tickets, lifts within 100 yards. Truly ski in, ski out. 3 of us comfortably fit (teenager on the couch, which was plenty comfortable). This room is close to the elevator which is nice. Parking garage is tight but better than nothing.

Great place for all levels of skiers. Close to lifts making it easy to meet up after resting.
Loved the location and the experience. I would recommend replacing utensils, dinner ware and cooking pans. I don’t like using warped, mismatched and over used kitchenware. It wouldn’t take much to buy a set of pans, knives, utensils and dinnerware from an online retailer. The parking was right underneath the lodge. Elevator access is across the hall so unpacking and loading were a breeze. Also Great for not walking down stairs in ski boots. Restaurants are all within 200 feet. Starbucks is just outside the door. You can rent at Copper rentals within 50 feet and the ski locker is located on the patio by the circle. We enjoyed the stay and will look forward to a return trip.

Great location/condo itself adequate
Presuming you’re staying here for the location, it’s fantastic. The unit itself is “efficiency.” We had trouble with the heating system the entire stay and despite maintenance coming to try to fix it, the unit remained quite cold throughout the stay. The kitchen is minimal and the oven needed cleaning so using it made a lot of smoke (and there is no range vent). But, and most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable.

Clean & simple. Easy access to skis storage locker, parking very convenient, & very close to American Eagle lift. If staying in the Winter, use the mini heater & humidifiers provided.in the closet. The tea kettle in 204 leaks & needs to be replaced. Will stay again 😊🎿

Great location and comfortable stay
The location is top notch, and loved the cute, cozy property. Everything worked great, the check-in was contactless, safe, and easy, has garage parking, we just really enjoyed this location. I 100% recommend.

Cozy condo in Center Village. Working fireplace with wood pre-stacked in the porch (but bring a fire starter!). Well-equipped kitchen. Nice king bed. The refrigerator is a bit noisy, and the wind creaks the building all night, but, hey, you're on a mountain!

Loved it!
Great location! Kitchen was fully stocked. Bathroom needs some love, but it works, and the water gets so hot! Yay! Watch walking around the bed. The footboard will get you every time! Ha! Our family of 4 loved staying here! We would rent again.

Condo itself was clean and exactly as pictured HOWEVER ELEVATOR WAS NOT WORKING.
Condo was clean and as pictured, HOWEVER ELEVATOR WAS OUT OF SERVICE. Considering a family driving 13-14 hrs hauling ski equipment and ski gear up flights of stairs was not acceptable. IT was out the whole week we were there. They could not use the snow storm as a reason, the storm came in 3 days after we arrived. No one even attemptied to fix the elevator prior and who knows how long it was out before we arrived..... The inconvenience required lots of stair climbing after a long day on the slopes. It was fixed the night before we left thankfully. The condo could use a few more amenities such as crock pot etc We did enjoy the location.

Great location! Right next to lift! Eagle BBQ right below on first floor! Starbucks right there!
My son and I stayed for 5 nights and it worked out perfect. Great location you can’t beat it! My son slept comfortably on the pull out sofa bed. Kitchen was good size and there was a nice enclosed deck also. Ski lockers were on the first floor right when you come off the lifts.

Huge place. Only a studio, but very roomy.
You can't be any closer to the lifts. The room is huge. Very comfortable. The building itself is a little older, but the room has been updated. Parking is a little tough if you have a big vehicle, but there is overflow parking close by. The room smelled of pot and cigarettes when we checked in...especially the enclosed balcony. Would have been nice to have a hot tub like other places. In the same building as a resuraunt with good food, cheap beer, and an arcade.

You cannot be closer to the slopes!!!
When skiing with kids making the transition on and off the mountain is huge. You are tired, your kids are tired and shortening the walk is huge for us. The kitchen was simple, the king bed was nice, the pull out was fine for little people. The staff was great. Another great experience at Copper!

the favorite part was a real wood fireplace!!! But be ready for a challenge to get that started and keep it going. There is a very small fire-starter kit in the room, however it was not nearly enough to make the huge logs of the wood burn (there was no kindling available :( However, the management personnel was able to help us out by giving us two large kits - it worked! (but plan on making a special trip to get those, or even better yet- ask for a fire starter kit right at the check in time). One aspect of the property that was not that good was the fact it was very cold in the room and difficult to make the warmer going. Suggestion to solve this issues is this: put the pillows on the floor by the balcony doors to block the cold air drifting AND make sure that all the vents are open. Overall, we liked out stay and would come back again.

Great location and accommodations
This studio condo was right on the slopes near the bottom of the American Eagle lift. Everything was great, but a few things could be improved. The kitchen isn't very well stocked, but I guess that is because it is just a studio. We had some family over for dinner and had to scramble for enough clean dishes and silverware. The pull out couch isn't very comfortable to sit on. We didn't use it as a bed so I can't comment on the mattress. The king size bed was nice to have, but the mattress wasn't great. My wife and I couldn't get very comfortable in the bed, so we didn't sleep great. Overall, it was a good condo and we'd probably stay there again. Copper Vacations was very responsive, friendly, and helpful the few times we called before and during our trip.
