Copper Mountain does not allow us to mount lockboxes on the exterior of our buildings, so we try to make checking in as convenient as possible - pretty quick stop off the freeway. Hello Barbara: I was truly saddened to receive this review. So much so that I drove up the mountain the next day to see what had happened to our condo. To be honest, I found everything to be perfectly clean and in good working condition. We are in the process of replacing the carpeting with hardwood flooring, but are awaiting the permit approval from the county (we are going on 12 weeks now.) In the meantime, the carpet has been professionally cleaned. I apologize for the inconvenience of picking up the key on your way up the mountain, but Copper Mountain does not allow lock-boxes to be mounted to the exterior of their buildings, so this is the next best solution. As for the drape covering the closet, we have tried twice now to replace the bi-fold doors, but due to the settling of the building, they are not able to fully stay in their track, which was causing a safety issue, so we opted for the curtain. The mattress is only a few years old, and we replace the pillows every two years, but we have found it is impossible to please everyone, because everyone has different tastes when it comes to firmness. In closing, I think a two-star review is a little harsh, so I hope potential guests will read on to learn about the experiences of all of my other guests. I don't think it's fair to hold me accountable for the fact that all of "Copper Mountain needs a cleaning." But everyone has their opinion, so I will respect yours. - Tamra
