Our cleaning service was easily able to "fix" our brand-new garbage disposal installed this past summer (2019) by simply pressing the reset button underneath the garbage disposal. Unlike a one bedroom or multi-bedroom condo, a Studio by definition is a large common living area. Although we have a Studio, a fully-operational pocket door conveniently separates the Custom Bunk Beds from the main part of the Studio, with the Queen Murphy Bed and two (2) Italian designed and manufactured Roll-Away beds to provide more privacy than a typical Studio. Anton, thank you for much for your thoughtful review of our Studio. I am pleased that you found our Studio comfortable and in a convenient location to the slopes, bars, restaurants and shops of the Village of Copper Mountain and you would consider returning to our Studio in the future. Regretfully, I was only advised that the gas fireplace was not operable until the early evening on the final night of your three night stay (i.e. Christmas Eve). Before this, we never had a problem with our gas fireplace since we have owned the Studio, including no issues with the gas fireplace reported by our two (2) most recent guests whom were in our Studio just a few days before you checked in with your family. Besides my insistence to compensate you for this inconvenience (which will be mailed to you tomorrow - Tuesday, December 26, 2017 - since the Post Office was closed today for Christmas), despite your request that this was not necessary, I was able to procure a technician on Christmas Day at a significant expense and he was able to get the gas fireplace working again in less than 15 minutes (i.e. the ignitor needed to be cleaned). As such, my present guest, whom checked in the same day you checked out, has confirmed that the gas fireplace is working perfectly and keeping the Studio warm and cozy. As we advised you when you first made your reservation with us and when you reported the issue with the gas fireplace, our goal is not only to meet but exceed our guests' expectations, especially a guest whom is paying a premium to stay with us during the Christmas holiday. It is for this reason why I am compensating you for your inconvenience despite the fact you said this was not necessary. For future reference, our nightly rates vary significantly depending upon the dates in which you stay with us - for example our rates are over 40% less expensive in the early and/or latter part of the ski season whereas you stayed with us during the peak of the ski season [i.e the Christmas / New Years holiday], where our rates (and the rates of everyone else) are significantly higher. Madeleine, It was an incredible pleasure to host you as our very first guest! I am so pleased that you felt at home in our Studio. One manner in which we do so is by providing each guest with a thoughtful welcome gift (a $15.00 value) as a thank you for staying with us. In addition, we provide coffee, tea, sugar and creamer, paper towels, tissues as well as bar soap, shampoo and conditioner such that you have all of the necessities of home. As you are well aware, Madeleine, our slate-accented gas fireplace lends a glowing warmth and coziness to our Studio whereas our two (2) oversized bay windows afford wonderful views of the Sky Chutes, the Ten Mile Range and the slopes at Copper Mountain. Congratulations on your 4.0 GPA in your graduate studies and we wish you nothing but continued personal and professional success in the future. If we have any advice to give you, it would be to spend more time with us the next time you decide to hit the slopes at Copper Mountain - one day simply isn't long enough.
