The condo was nice and clean and located in the perfect location in Copper Village. It is walking distance wearing ski boots to the lifts and all of the restaurants and stores in Center Village. It is also walking distance to daycare and ice skating. The shuttle bus to West Village (ski school) is right across the street from the entrance of Passage Point where the condo is located. The condo was close to the elevator (no noise is heard from outside the condo) which made it easier to get to/from the room. Passage Point has three hot tubs and each one is a different temperature. The coldest one feels like a warm bath which was great for the kids to play in with their goggles on. The condo view faces the mountain and you can look down at the hot tubs. Parking is inside the garage below the building. It was very easy to find a spot. We stayed for a week from Christmas through New Years and purchased ski 5 out of 8 day lift tickets. On the two days we didn't ski, we went tubing (East Village), snowmobiling (kids rode with us) 30 min away, and took a CAT tour up the mountain at Camp Hale (1 hr away). The only thing we wish we had done was dog sledding. Every place we called was booked so if you want to do this, you need to make reservations well in advance of your trip. Copper Mountain is a short drive to Frisco (10 min) which has restaurants and a Safeway. You will need to purchase extra toilet paper and paper towels if you are staying for a week. Housekeeping does not clean the condo during your stay and does not restock supplies. The condo comes stocked with plates, glasses and silverware and there is a dishwasher.
- Also, even though the ski school is in West Village, you can pick up the kids rentals and return them at the ski shop in any Village (East, Center and West). If you book anything in advance, you get a 20% discount (ski lessons/school, lift tickets, tubing, etc.).
