"There are so many great features about this place: the goat/sheep/pig welcoming committee, fresh eggs on the counter, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, cool furniture pieces, art, and more. Also, we arrived well after checkin to find cigarette-smoking house cleaners still cleaning, with the comforters on the FLOOR! Yuck! We called the owner & sent video footage but they didn’t really care. We asked for a refund and to find another house (like the VRBO ad on TV) and they refused! Really gross and misrepresented. I had my coffee outside watching the barn swallows, biue jays, robins and cardinals mingle with the deer. It was serene! Then just a short drive into Floyd to take in the local flare.
