Very comfortable / perfect location
Sanders Shield seemed too good to be true in the description with its central location, proximity to Nyhaven and comfortable layout. We were delighted to find that it was everything promised and more. It is a great flat, communication with the owner is easy and you could not ask for a better location.

Great property…10 sheets of tp
Great location and plentiful sleeping rooms. Only given 10 sheets of tp and was told they only provided an initial amount and we were accountable for additional. That’s striking given we didn’t experience that at any other vrbo. All else was fine.

Copenhagen 2025 with family
Great location! My family (myself, husband and three adult children) stayed comfortably in the apartment. A bit difficult to first find lock box. We messaged that they didn’t provide enough towels for 5 adults and they told us to keep looking and after confirmation they didn’t provide they still ignored bringing us more towels. Pretty silly. Otherwise great!

Great location. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and the canal is steps away. We had a blast in Copenhagen due to the walkability of this neighborhood. The only downside is communication. The property manager is hard to reach and they do not use "What's App" very well. It was a struggle to get up with them but once we did, they were very nice. They need to adjust their website to make it more user friendly because as an international traveler you do not want to burn your call time and money just trying to talk to someone. Checking in is very hard due to you have to go to their website (outside of VRBO) to get any check in instructions and iPhones from the United States block access because it is considered out of the United States. If you book, you will be pleased with the final result if you can put up with the aggravation of trying to get check in information or if something goes wrong, getting up with the property manager.

We were told there would be a 10% discount for a five day stay but the owners reneged on that VRBO agreement. The location was good but the place was disappointing. The toilet seat was broken. The sink had no drain cover. The curtains were falling down. There were no closets, luggage racks or anyplace to put suitcases and clothing. There was no laundry soap. The TV and internet did not work and we asked them to attend to this but nothing was fixed. There was a lack of thought, of grace, of hospitality and that is most unfortunate because Copenhagen is fabulous.

Close to Everything!
This apartment near the Kongens Nytorv Station was very central and walkable to most locations in Old Copenhagen. It is near shopping and lots of restaurants and bars - The Kayak Bar was a favorite, along with ELIS gelato. It has a very nice bathroom with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The washer and the dryer both worked great. There is a toaster and a coffee pod coffee maker that my husband said made so-so coffee. There are no spices or oils or condiments - so bring your own or buy them. There are 3 small (very small!) bedrooms - 2 with full sized beds and one with a twin. The garbage facilities are down in the shared courtyard and it is pretty easy to sort the recycyling and find the bin for trash. I didn't realize the compostable bags required for food waste were also stored down there until the end of the trip. There is only one key for the apartment and that was a bit tricky for our party of 5 - but the buzzer does work and you can open the outside gate from inside the apartment - it is the buzzer that is not labeled. The inside courtyard seemed like it would be safe for storing a rented bicycle, but we did not need bikes - everything was so close!
