"This is our second stay at this hotel. Its rooms have been modernised but still show a hint of their earlier days which is a look I like.
Great shower and small kitchen area for a morning wake up cuppa.
Heaps of restaurants nearby and of course the bars downstairs. Even though the rooms are above the bars it’s not noisy at all. "
"The room is small but has everything you need and it is clean. So was the bathroom. No complains at all about that. The hotel is part of a betting place, which it is weird but, I cannot complain about it. The kitchen was closed as it is been reformed. Breakfast was included but, it was just a box they give you the night before with some cereal, milk, fruit and juice. Unacceptable. Other than that, ok"

Hot water and cold water were not marked and the hot water was very slow to come out so it was inconvenient to wait for five minutes wasting water until the hot water came out. To make matters worse I was informed at check-in in rather officious manner to keep the door closed and the vent switched on or the fire alarm will be set off. As if I was all ready culpable. There was a sign on the bathroom door reinforcing this and a possible fine of $800.

Kind and helpfull staff, nice and big rooms and well located. Free parking available, at 2 minutes walking from O'Connells 24h bakery (a MUST) and near the free Adelaide bus."
