Wonderful property with amazing access to the northeastern area of Yellowstone. The home is beautiful, well kept, and in a stunningly beautiful area. The outdoor spa and separate sauna facility were very fun bonuses.

Attractive property. Worked quite well for 2 couples. Easy to find. Good location for entering Yellowstone NP. we had what we needed when cooking. Just need a few hooks in the bathroom for towels as with 4 people there r not enough places to hang things. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was not working while we were there.

We rented all three parts of MTNLUX.We were 13. We used all the bedrooms, but not nearly all the beds.There was plenty of room for all.The place is as advertised - its awesome.Hard on the Soda Butte.We caught (and released) dozens of fish just walking out the back door.We were visited by a young black bear and many deer.The place is very comfortable and very nice.The location is terrific.We'll be back with another large group.

This was perfect for my family. Location was great. Cooke City is a great little town. Lots of wildlife just from the porch of this home. Great amenities. Home was clean and exactly what we needed. Thank you for letting us stay.

Beautiful place and space. The creek, hot tub, and sauna are all amazing. The home is lovely. The cars stopping in the middle of the road to watch bison- less lovely but all part of the Yellowstone experience.

Cozy Luxury Cabin near Lamar Valley

Beautiful luxury cabin in the woods on Soda Butte Creek with peek-a-boo mountain views in the distance. Very good location if you’re interested in Lamar Valley wildlife viewing! Was nice and quiet, even with a main house and loft rental connected to the cabin by a breezeway that has laundry facilities. Very comfortable beds and nice cozy living room and kitchen area and also a cozy loft area! We enjoyed seeing a moose across the creek one evening! Cooke City is a very small isolated town at about 7500ft. elevation. May not be the best choice for people with medical conditions as there is no emergency services nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

Fall Getaway

The guest house was amazing! Perfect for the three of us and could have handled several more guests. House is well stocked and extremely clean. Loved the location in the woods. Saw a fox and mule deer nearly every night. Proximity to Yellowstone is perfect for those looking for quick access to Lamar Valley. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Beautiful Accommodations in a Beautiful Setting

The accommodations were beautiful. The place was well furnished, well stocked, and totally complete. We had a relaxing time hanging out by Soda Butte Creek and it was a convenient walk into town. We fished, hiked and spotted lots of wildlife nearby. Truly, the location near Yellowstone National Park was the BEST! We had a memorable time and highly recommend this special place.

Wonderful Guest Home!

My sisters and I stayed for a week and it was a wonderful home for our vacation. We loved the property and area so much, on the day we left, we booked the larger home for next summer so we could bring our dad. Cooke city is a wonderful town and was part of our decision to book for next summer. So very close to Lamar Valley. Communication from the owners when we had a question/request was very prompt and easy (and later in the night due to our late arrival). The creek, hot tub, and sauna made for wonderful, relaxing mornings and evenings. The families staying in the larger home next door had campfires by the creek each evening (there was a fire pit by the creek). Although the units are close to each other and the laundry room/sauna/hot tub are shared, there was never an issue. They have 2 large washing machines and dryers. Definitely do your grocery shopping before arriving, but, there is a general store in Cooke City that has almost everything you would need in an emergency (not a lot of variety but will get you through if in a pinch--we were surprised by all they had to offer). The kitchen has all you need to cook meals and the beds are VERY comfortable. The property had a bison show up almost each evening. A local said he's been around for years. We saw 4 moose just down the trail. This really is a special place. We've stayed in Big Sky and Gardiner for over 10 year trying to find a place we love and we've now found it with this property and city.
