The location is up a steep street from the train station, and there are stairs up to the entry, and very narrow and steep stairs to the sleeping floor, so it would not be good for someone with mobility issues. My traveling companion had an issue with a pulled muscle in her leg and it was very hard for her to get up and down the stairs. It was also an issue getting my rolling suitcase up to the bedroom. The internet was a bit uneven- I had issues with it cutting out for no apparent reason.
Other than that, everything was fine. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, there were basic supplies- oil for the frying pans, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee and some herbs. The washer worked well, but there was no dryer- the usual situation in much of the UK- however, since it was a warm day we hung our clothing out on the line- there is a good line, clothes pins, and a drying rack- and everything dried well.
It’s a short walk to the center of town, and you can walk to anywhere in Conwy in a few minutes because the town is very small. The cottage is only a couple of blocks from an access point to the town walls, and from the wall it’s basically one long block to the town center.
We didn’t have a car, but there is parking space available if we had arrived in one.
Our hostess was very responsive to my questions about various things.
