Great relaxing trip - Overall enjoyed our first trip to New Hampshire and this property. The house was great - we used it to swim in the pond, play pingpong/pool in the basement, and as a base to explore North Conway & beyond. A few items to be aware of - Air Conditioning - Coming in the peak heat of the summer, air conditioning was key. The air conditioners are the in-room standalone units that require a small duct to push out the window - one of the rooms it wasn't even connected and I had to connect. It would have been unbearable without them, but they were pretty clunky and noisy. Kitchen- I wouldn't call this a well-stocked kitchen, as pretty much every piece of cookware was an old, scratched piece of teflon. Amenities - Not that we expected any, but it would have been nice if some kayaks or watercraft were provided. We used our own inflatable floats.Street - a neighbor told me this quiet, 25mph street recently became a pass-through and there seemed to be a high number of speeding cars & trucks passing through.Bonus Room - this worked well for us as we had older kids, but just be mindful that the 'bonus' master bedroom above the garage requires going through the garage through another door and up a completely separate set of steps. Also, the air conditioning in the bonus room could not run at the same time as the lights in the bathroom otherwise it would trip the breaker.
