"Wonderful property, staff amazing. Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power. It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay. As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime. We will be back! 👍"

"Upon arrival, the hotel was incredible, parking was easy, we was ealry to check in, however, we were made comfortable at the bar to unwind with some drinks prior. "Every aspect from the staff, to the food, to the added extra of the outdoor pool were fantastic! The hotel is on a busy road, so we thought perhaps the noise would cause an issue but we couldn’t hear it from our room. It’s an absolute little gem and we will happily return."

"This is a very nice place, comfortable and cosy. Big rooms with good equipment and comfortable beds. Extremely friendly staff. It's located in a very centric location, 5 min from the train station and the city centre and all bus stops. It's in the main street of "weekend night life" (if you like to go party, the have discounts for a nightclub), so it may be a bit noisy during weekends... but the rest of the week is very quiet. For a B&B (not hotel) is probably the best I have been."

"Had an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! " Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows.
