"My adult children, spouses, and grandkids ranging in age from 7 months to 20 all had an absolutely wonderful time hanging out in this spacioius house, swimming and hot tubbing, playing pool, and cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Two in our family even braved the river for a cold dunk before suana. The hosts were wonderfully responsive and helpful. Everyone had a blast. Highly recommend."

The unit had a beautiful view of the lake from both sleeping areas, was clean and quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was also beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail! "We loved the property and once we got sorted out about being able to bring our dogs everything was great. The area is lovely and the fenced yard was a plus. The house was comfortably furnished and well stocked. Eclipse day was cloudy but we were able to get views from the back yard. We used extra days to explore some natural areas, awesome and I got to hang out with both my sons and DIL in a roomy house on a beautiful lake."

"We came for a long weekend to watch the solar eclipse. Dave's place is exactly as shown in the photographs - a very nice apartment, very clean and updated, and the beds were super comfortable. The house rules were clear and easy to follow, and our host Dave was very responsive. We had a very nice time and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Dave."

"Owner was accommodating. Place was clean and nice for the price. The entrance was a little off putting but once you get past that, it was good to go. "We enjoyed our stay very much, the cabin is cosy but adequate for four, even six people. The location and grounds make this a relaxing getaway, with grill and fire pit. There is a very beautiful river nearby which seems a popular fishing destination and the family and I walked down to see it. We were here, not for fishing, but to see the Great American Eclipse, and this place suited our small family just fine. Meals can be cooked if needed and the comfort and temperature was great."

"My husband, daughter and I were heading to Sylvan Beach for a surprise birthday party for his grandma and needed a place to stay. This place was perfect. We had a five month old, the place was super clean. It was shockingly warm so we were able to walk to the Pancake House for breakfast and the beach to look at the lake. The hosts was very nice and property manager. If we need to come back for a family visit we will stay there or talk everyone into renting the bigger property."

There’s a set of doors that looks like a closet but it’s actually a neighboring unit. It’s locked and blocked off but you can clearly hear everything on the other side. "Our stay was perfect. It’s a lovely home in a really nice neighborhood. Simpatico had everything you could think of and so much more! The owners did a wonderful job making us feel welcome including a welcome basket of treats! The beds were very comfortable and everything was just so cozy and comfortable. Bravo to the owners for thinking of so much detail, making their place one of the best places we have ever stayed! I highly recommend it!"

"The hotel is beautiful it has so much charm, I love the ceilings in the lobby. My bed was very comfortable I slept very well and my complementary breakfast was delicious.
