Loved having access to the golf cart. The house met all our needs and anything we wanted was only 10-20 minutes away. Kids loved fishing off the pier & playing in the yard and secret kids room.

Lovely house! We stay here every year. They have games and toys for all ages. The neighborhood is lovely. We see geese and deer everyday on our walks and golf cart rides.

It's a nice place, definitely needs work. No consumables there - make sure to bring ALL condiments including salt & pepper. We ran out of paper towels & had to buy more. Seems like they have an ant problem, found them by the kitchen sink area and even a few on the chairs in the family room. Didn't see any cleats on the deck if you had a boat to dock, luckily we ended up not bringing one. Fishing was great off the dock though! Nice having the Golf Cart to get around! Construction going on in the neighborhood, so there is noise in the mornings...luckily we are early risers. My husband got bit several times by fire ants in the grass in the backyard. All-in-all it was a nice stay in a beautiful area in a HUGE house!

Another stay at Canterbury

Our second stay this year and as always, excellent across the board. The host could not be better and the location can't be beat for fishing, boating, shopping and dining choices. We are already planning our next stay. Wonderful choice.

Nice Property but Not for Mobility Challenged Guests

The home is a nice, clean & well decorated, located in a quiet neighborhood with close proximity to stores. The kitchen was stocked with every kind of dish & appliance, (even a margarita machine that we wish we would have known about) but if you are planning to cook, there are no condiments furnished, i.e. salt, pepper, sweeteners, coffee filters. We had to go to the store to buy more toilet paper & paper towels. We understand every vacation rental is different, but we were a little surprised that these basics weren’t adequately supplied. The home has a spacious back porch overlooking the canal. Many games & activities were furnished. We highly suggest that if you have someone in your group that is mobility-challenged or a senior, please consider a different property. The property has a sunken living room, outside step downs with the same-colored tile and with no hand rails anywhere on the property or pier. The stairs are very steep and dark color wood that makes the steps hard to see. There are no ceiling fans in the house so we suggest bringing your own fan. We recommend that description of the property be updated with everything that is furnished or not furnished and the location of each bedroom. Several ladies mentioned renting the house for future family gatherings and it is a great place for a large group with kids.

Family vacation

Great home to stay in for all ages! The kids’ playroom and game room were a great bonus! Plenty of room for all! We had 8 adults and 4 children under 7. Would definitely recommend! The host is so responsive and helpful! Loved using both pools and access to the golf cart!!

Tuscan House

This house was once a beauty, but is need of serious repair. There is evidence of mold in the garage. We never did get the golf cart to work and never got a response from the property manager about why the cart didn't work. The interior was very nice and accomidated my family. There were plenty of towels and bathroom accessories, and dishware and pot and pans. The boat dock was pretty dirty, but we used it for successful fishing. All in all, a pleasant 4 days.

40th Birthday Weekend

This house was beautiful and what i needed for my Birthday weekend in every way,my friends and i enjoyed Everything it offered,fishing from the peer,the golf cart,the big sitting spaces etc. The host were great i had to contact them about the wifi,they answered and got us connected quickly....I most definitly reccomend this property.

Wonderful Weekend Celebration

Was part of a group of friends who rented this location to celebrate a friend's big birthday (40). The house made a fabulous hangout for several of us to get together and celebrate. The large dining room table was a perfect fit for our group that allowed all of us to sit comfortably. The beds and couches in the house provided ample sleeping options that meant none of us had to share. The backyard with its pier overlooking the lake provided an excellent backdrop to our festivities. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We eve saw a few deer in the neighborhood yards in the morning. There were a few minor negatives though. Being a waterfront property in Texas, the mosquitos were everywhere and their presence limited how much we could enjoy the grand patio and balcony. We didn't think to bring citronella candles or anything to manage them. The checkout instructions included steps for the alarm system but the alarm panel didn't match the instructions. This caused some confusion and concern among our group as we prepared to depart. As far as negatives go, both of those are very minor but easily remedied if you know in advance on what to expect. We would definitely return here again.

We would stay here again. Very peaceful and we loved staying here. We were celebrating our daughters wedding and Christmas. The house was decorated and we really enjoyed it. We did run low on tp, but that is no biggie and setting the alarm when leaving was difficult. We enjoyed the golf cart ride around the neighborhood. Loved seeing the wildlife too.

The Home was very nice and very clean. It was the perfect location for our family event. The decor is especially nice. There’s plenty of dishes for our large gathering. I would definitely rent here again. The orchids were a very nice touch!!

Great for family vacation

This house had everything we needed and more. We had 4 generations of family from 2 months old to 75 years old.(5 of them were teenagers), and this house was able to accommodate all 13 of us very comfortably.. The kids loved fishing from the dock or feedong the ducks corn every morning. Plenty of room to seat everyone inside and out. Close to the Renaissance Festival, and we were able to rent a boat from the marina and spend a day on Lake Conroe. The owner was very prompt, efficient, and flexible with or schedule as we had people arriving from 3 different states. Highly recommend. We are hoping to be back next year.
