"The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. The desert tasted OK but...

"The location itself was ideal. Walking distance to the Latin Quarter and any number of good pubs. Our host Michelle was very gracious in her instructions on the property and recommending things to do/see while there. She was also very wonderful in assisting us with some personal items we inadvertently left when we checked out. Can highly recommend this property."

"The place seemed clean and well put together. The beds were not very comfortable and the hot/warm water in the shower is near nonexistent. We tried to communicate a couple issues with the host but never got a reply. Any communication was the typical copy and paste instructions for check in and check out. I will say, the location was perfect though. Right on the square with everything very walkable. "
