The place was very comfortable, with plenty of space both inside and out to socialize or take some quiet time to yourself. We were not there during tubing season, but we got to enjoy walks, restaurants, local shopping. I would highly recommend Hummingbird to anyone looking for a place in Concan."

"We were 4 couples who all skied together from '86 til just years ago. We've all stayed in touch & 5 out of the 8 of celebrated our BDs in October. Had a great time reminiscing & catching up. The pool was a bit too cold for most of us during the day & wished the hot tub was accessible for the cooler nights. Sat around the fire one night & made s'mores. All of us love the Hill Country so this place was great."

"We were able to book this house on such short notice for an unexpected family event. The house was clean and had a full kitchen. With our downtime, we had a lot of outdoor games to play and also watched th sunset by the frio. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay. We enjoyed the roomy house and all of the accomdations."

"This property was perfect for our group. It had a large gathering areas where we could all talk and have fun together for amazing times. It also had casitas for each nuclear group to have private space too. It was great because the Wi-Fi and the pool kept teenagers happy and engaged with each other. It had areas to keep the adults happy all together or for more intimate areas to catch up with others one-on-one. I would definitely stay here again."

"The property was in a great location, just close enough to the Frio river to not be a hassle to get to and just far enough away to feel someone private and secluded. My party had friends fly in from other states and the site was easy to find and accessible. The pool was a much appreciated amenity after several scorched and long days on the river. If we make our way back down towards Concan I will definitely use this property again. Home was clean and welcoming. Great job."

"Our family gathered for the solar eclipse and found this home along the path of totality and were impressed by the detail and care the hosts put into their guest home. Hosts were responsive and generous with helping us a few extras and provided camp chairs, a cooler and tips on where to go in the area. There is a sweet swimming spot nearby we recommend. The home has all your needs, beds are comfortable, can walk into the small town and located on the main hwy to get to areas around the region to...

"This spot is both beautiful and serene. I loved the individual cabins. The outdoor space was gorgeous. The pool was a great size for a bunch of teenagers. The only negative (if you even want to consider it a negative) is there isn't a large living/family room for everyone to gather out in one spot of the heat. Overall, I would definitely recommend this home and I would definitely rent again."

"This property has a great location. Super close to everything you need on River Rd. It is stocked with the basic necessities. Plenty of space for everyone. Some of the other reviews mentioned the a/c not keeping up. There are notes near each thermostat telling you exactly how low you can go with the temp. I’m 51. 72 is warm for me but the other guests were ok. We were also on the river during hottest parts of the day. It cooled down nicely at night. 😊"

"We had 4 couples and 4 kids, and booked almost 2 years in advance for the eclipse. The Rusty Rio is quaint and what it appears to be....a fun and "campy" spot. The only gripe we had was that when we booked, we filtered rentals that had hot tubs, and hot tub was listed as an amenity. It didn't work, and likely hasn't for many years. When we contacted the host, we were advised that it does not work and never has, and that the amenity listing was an error. With that being said, everything else was...
