Familia Trip to Italy

So beautiful. Knew it was two levels didn’t know about spiral staircase. But was fine and worked out. Had a great time restaurants, pizzeria and bakery near by delirious. Host Francesca very helpful and so warming. We also loved the private transportation.

The view is unbelievable!

Unbelievable view. Loved walking to the small grocery store every morning and chat with the owners. In village restaurants were great and walkable. Sylvia, the owner, was wonderful to answer any questions before our stay.

Amazing view

This house is all about the views during the day and the night time. The house is cute and in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. I loved sitting on the deck with the views of the ocean, the town of Amalfi, and looking across the ocean to Sicily. the check in process was extremely easy and Nuncia was so helpful during our entire stay. Would recommend this property to anyone and would stay again.

Amazing location

Pictures say it all. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a market in the town that is well stocked and has a nice deli section. The secure parking is easy to get into and provides peace of mind when travelling with a rental car. The only suggestion would be to have a booklet inside the house outlining the location of the market and nearby restaurant and perhaps instructions for operating the washing machine and stove.

Ant infested run down - could have been a dream but was a nightmare

The view from the property is lovely and exactly as in the photos but the property is run down, broken bed frames, air conditioning only in one rooms( house is advertised as air conditioned- in high summer when it’s over 90 degrees with direct sun all day the house is unbearable hot, specially for sleeping). The cleanliness was not great, we checked in and there was toothpaste on the faucets, a dirty fork on the kitchen floor and it was 6 pm and the cleaners were there when we arrived. The kitchen was infested with ants all over the walls and main food storage shelves. Come to find out from Neighbors they were there all day trying to get the ants under control. There were so many ants that in the bathrooms when you stepped on the bath mat it became speckled with black from Anna’s in your feet, they were in some of the beds and we had them on our arms and let’s at times. The property manager told us the owner knew but had not wanted to hire professional exterminators and this had been a problem for over a year. The one air conditioning unit remote had no battery so we couldn’t turn it in until we got batteries from the property manager. The house has been advertised with a spa/ hot tub but there wasn’t one- the owner claimed it was a listing mistake. I booked in April and the listing end of July still showed a hot tub. The property manager gave us a can of ant spray and the owner tried to deny knowing there was an ant issue. It was a huge problem and daily. Not a great stay.

Unbeatable views

We loved our one week family vacation in Conca dei Marini. The views of the house are amazing! We enjoyed exploring the area, but once back at the house everyday we kept reflecting that the views were unbeatable! The house itself is charming, spacious, very clean and has everything you need. The location of the house is also ideal - Conca is not so touristic unlike Amalfi, so it has a more relaxed atmosphere, and the house sits roughly in between the town beach and the town square so you can reach both sides easily through the many steps that are sure to keep you fit! And what we enjoyed a lot was meeting Silvia and Sergio - they are a delight and gave us many tips on exploring the area. We hope to be back soon to stay in this beautiful house.

maison très agréable avec vue de rêve sur la méditerranée

Maison sur deux étages avec vue sublime sur la baie de conca di Marini. Un escalier permet d'accéder à une petite plage, chance plutôt rare dans la région. La possibilité de disposer d'une place de parking est aussi très pratique. En plus du balcon la maison dispose d'un petit jardin ombragé qui permet de déjeuner facilement à l'extérieur. Situé à quelques minutes d'Amalfi, la situation de la maison permet de rayonner facilement dans la région.

Lovely view

The short version: we enjoyed our stay very much, and it's the view from the terrace that makes this villa so special. A longer version: While the property is comfortable and the owners very friendly and helpful, there are some details which could be improved. The bathrooms and plumbing are a bit old and tired, and the showers barely have any water pressure. One of the reasons we chose this property was that we wanted a bath for our baby daughter, but the bath was really just an odd deep spa bath sort of arrangement that didn't actually seem to work at all. The very narrow spiral staircase to the top floor was also a problem – not good for people with young children or accessibility issues. Overall, the furniture and decoration in the bedrooms was very old and tired and really could do with some updating. In fact, the place has such amazing potential – a refurbishment could turn it into five-star accommodation. Oh, and the parking area could be very difficult to use when there are other cars parked on the road – extremely difficult to find the space to manoeuvre in.

Ottimo soggiorno

Siamo stati a Conca dei Marini alla fine di agosto. Abbiamo trovato facilmente la casa dietro precise indicazioni della proprietaria. Ottimo il parcheggio privato con cancello da cui si accede alla casa attraverso una comoda scalinata. La casa, molto spaziosa e con bellissimi soffitti a cupola, era perfettamente in ordine e pulita, con un terrazzo con una vista mozzafiato sul golfo di Amalfi. Facilmente raggiungibili i mezzi pubblici per le varie destinazioni. Non abbiamo avuto alcun tipo di problema, grazie anche a Fiore, che è stato il nostro contatto locale che ci ha accolto e dato preziosi consigli per il nostro soggiorno.

Amazing Plce with Amazing Owners

This home is clearly a family treasure. It has been well used and well loved and is exactly as advertised. If you are looking for the Hilton, do not stay here. It has more of a cottage feel with comfortable furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are spacious. The one on the main floor has double doors connecting it to the balcony which has an absolutely stunning view of the Meditteranean. The one on the upper floor is even larger, private and ,again, comfortable. After a day of exploring the area amid substantial crowds, this is a wonderful place to return to, get a glass of wine and move out onto the balcony to enjoy the view and reflect on the day. We must also say a word about the owners. What truly wonderful people! In addition to ensuring that we had the best stay possible, they allowed us to park our vehicle in the garage of their home just outside of Venice so that when we visited that city we could take the train and avoid the hefty parking fees we would otherwise have had to pay. Not only that but they took us to the train station, showed us how to purchase and validate tickets and picked us up on our return. And all this after insisting on giving us a tour of their beautiful city! We have used VRBO and Homeaway websites for a few years now and have met some great owners and managers, but these people were the best! A couple of other points to note. This property comes with 2 parking spaces. If you are driving, this is important because parking in the area can be challenging. Also, because the village is perched on a steep incline high above the sea, there are lots of stairs to negotiate if you choose to walk to explore. If you have health issues that would make climbing them difficult , there are shuttles and taxis as an alternative. Finally, while the owners live roughly 6 hours away from this home, there is a property manager in the village who was helpful, funny and prompt in responding to any questions or issues. We give this home and its owners our highest recommendation. Should you choose to stay here I say good on you! You are making an excellent choice

wonderful experience for whole family

We are a danish/american family- with our 3 adult childern. We had a wonderful time in Amalfi and the home we stayed at was perfect. The view is fantastic, and the home is with everything well functioning. We give our highest recommendation!

Schöne Unterkunft mit Traumblick

Hallo, wir waren über Ostern in der Unterkunft und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Beschreibung passte zu 100 % mit den Gegebenheiten überein. Der Blick ist noch imposanter, als es die Fotos erahnen lassen können. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und fernab des Tourismus. Genau das was wir gesucht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Déçu car les remarques des précédents locataires n'ont pas été pris en compte, ce qui est très désagréable La douche du haut est toujours aussi incommode. La salle de bains du bas mériterait également une douche au lieu d'une baignoire inutilisable Le matelas de la chambre du bas serait à changer Sinon L'équipement général est correct, il manque quelques verres à pied pour boire le proseco sur le balcon qui offre une vue magnifique. Le parking est un plus

Magnifica vista

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento a settembre. Alla casa si accede tramite una scala che parte dal parcheggio privato con cancello (cosa rarissima in costiera) e che si conclude nel giardino posteriore della casa, molto coccolo e ben curato. Aperta la porta di casa si viene avvolti da una piacevole sensazione di famiglia. Tutto in perfetto ordine e pulito. Alzando il naso si possono ammirare i meravigliosi fregi seicenteschi della cupola, presenti anche nella stanza al piano superiore. La casa è molto spaziosa e ben organizzata, fornita di ogni comfort. Durante il nostro soggiorno ci è tornata utile anche la lavatrice! Il terrazzo ha una vista sensazionale sul golfo, ben visibile Amalfi, Maiori, Minori e Salerno. Bella anche la zona, molto tranquilla e ben servita. La spiaggia è vicina, raggiungibile attraverso una scalinata (un po faticosa al ritorno) ma che ripaga del posto. Conca è anche ben servita dai servizi pubblici che permettono di raggiungere le principali località della costiera senza particolari disagi. Gentilissima la sig.ra Silvia che è stata costantemente in contatto con noi per sapere se tutto procedeva bene. E altrettanto gentili e disponibili anche Antonio e Fiore del ristorante Le bontà del capo (ottimo ristorante!!!) nostri riferimenti a Conca. Se avremo nuovamente la possibilità, ci piacerebbe soggiornare nuovamente in questo appartamento. Consigliatissimo!

Très belle maison, au calme et vue magnifique

Nous y avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille. La maison est très spacieuse, bien équipée et dans une zone calme, en contrebas de la route et à l'écart du centre du village. La vue du balcon sur la mer et les falaises est phénoménale, du coup nous n'avons pas utilisé la terrasse qui se situe de l'autre côté (toutefois elle est à l'ombre donc bien agréable quand il fait chaud). Le parking privé est très appréciable en été, d'autant plus que le stationnement est payant dans la rue. Le parcours vers la plage se fait via des escaliers assez larges, il faut toutefois être en bonne condition physique car c'est assez long. Le centre du village de Conca est accessible a pied également, avec un excellent restaurant, un supermarché et une pharmacie. Par ailleurs, Amalfi n'est qu'à 4 kilomètres. Enfin nous avons profité des fêtes de village et des nombreux feux d'artifice au dessus de la mer. La côte amalfitaine est vraiment magnifique et on ne peut que recommander cette maison pour en profiter pleinement !

Fantastic view

The house have a fantastic panoramic view of the bay of Salerno. Everything about the house is exactly as described. Plenty of rooms and a nice garden. We walked down to the public beach, nice restaurants there. I came to prefer the beach at Capo di Conga, free shutle service, sunbed and umbrella is 10€ per person. The restaurant Le Bonta del Capo is very good, they also run free shutle. I god used to driving around the Amalfi coast. The SS163 is very good, and the local road to Conca is OK.

Bellissima, vista mozzafiato.

La casa è bella, confortevole e ben tenuta. Abbiamo trovato alcune cose della casa molto particolari: l'altezza del soffitto a cupola di oltre 5 metri, e la rifinitura della cupola con fregi; la presenza dei fregi anche nella camera al primo piano. Ci è piaciuta la finestra al primo piano, a forma di cuore (con due seggiolini davanti, esattamente come nella foto!). La mia mamma ha trovato utilissima nel bagno al piano terra la vasca dotata di un'agevole porta di accesso, indispensabile per le persone anziane o con i problemi di deambulazione. Dalla terrazza s'ammira una veduta mozzafiato sul golfo e sulla costiera, con la vista su Amalfi. Ho potuto fare a tutte le ore delle foto meravigliose (alcune già apprezzate nei concorsi fotografici), in particolare di notte con la luna piena o durante il temporale, con i fulmini sul mare. Durante la permanenza nella casa ci ha accompagnato il silenzio e il senso della pace, senza le urla dei bambini e senza i rumori delle macchine. E per concludere ho lasciato una cosa a dir poco fantastica! Nel posto auto privato (già cosa rara sulla costiera), all'interno del cancello, quando una sera ci sono venuti a trovare gli amici, abbiamo parcheggiato, con qualche manovra, ben due macchine - non enormi, ma normali utilitarie. E questo è veramente degno di nota, specie per estate, quando il parcheggio diventa impossibile da trovare. Riassumendo - ci siamo trovate molto bene, e quando tornerò in zona, mi farebbe piacere usare di nuovo la casa, anche grazie alla gentilezza della proprietaria, che è stata molto disponibile.

Nice and relaxing stay at Amalfi coast

My best friend, my god son (4) and I had a very pleasant stay at the house. It resembled exactly the description, was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The best about the house is definetely the great view you have from every window and the balcony. The surroundings are very quiet and it is the perfect place to relax. The exchange with the owner was very uncomplicated and they gave us lots of tips for nice beaches, restaurants and what to do. I definetely can recommend this very nice place for a great holiday at Amalfi coast!

un grande soggiorno in Costiera

Una incantevole posizione, strategicamente appena fuori dal grande traffico della costiera. In circa 20 minuti di passeggiata si raggiunge facilmente Amalfi, da cui partono tutti i mezzi terrestri e navali per le più belle località. Al ritorno dalle gite si gode di una vista magnifica dalla splendida terrazza sul mare. Appartamento bene attrezzato e confortevole, molto luminoso con camere spaziose. Ottimo ristorante nei pressi a pochi minuti. Notevole il posto auto protetto dal cancello di ingresso, cosa rara in costiera.

Casa sicuramente conforte...

Casa sicuramente confortevole. anche grazie all' ampia metratura ed inserita in uno splendido contesto paesaggistico. Molto comodo il parcheggio privato. Centro del paese non troppo distante e con tutti i servizi necessari con prezzi convenienti. Unica pecca, la spiaggi che risulta piuttosto scomoda per chi non ama camminare.

Parcheggiata la macchina ...

Parcheggiata la macchina a livello stradale,si scende una gradinata che conduce all'entrata della casa. Varcata la soglia si è avvolti da una piacevole atmosfera. Dalle porte finestre si accede alla terrazza e qui una vista mozzafiato sul golfo di Amalfi sorprende e affascina. La casa, disposta su due piani, è funzionale, pulita, ordinata,fornita di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno piacevole ed autogestito. Anche il paese è ottimo come puntoni partenza per le varie escursioni sulla costiera. Insomma, il soggiorno a Conca dei Marini è consigliabile a tutti sia per la posizione del paese e della casa, sia per disponibilità dei vicini dei paesani e naturalmente dei proprietari dell'appartamento. Eravamo in quattro a metà Maggio, ed è stata una scelta azzeccata anche per il tempo.

"Ho trovato l''alloggio molto pulito e curato, situato in una posizione tranquilla, con una splendida vista sul mare della costiera. Ottima l''accoglienza, siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dall''ospitaltà: un profumato cesto di limoni offerto all''ospite, la presenza di generi di primo consumo e tutto ciò che poteva servire per le pulizie. L''appartamento è ben attrezzato di stoviglie e biancheria e offre tutto ciò che contribuisce a rendere una vacanza piacevole e rilassata. Di grande utilità e comodità è il posto auto privato all''inteno del giardino. Consiglierei questo appartamento a coloro che desiderano una vacanza in cui si conciliano riposo, tranquillità, mare, arte e cultura."

"We had a wonderful stay ...

"We had a wonderful stay over the Easter holiday at this beautiful home on the Amalfi coast. The home is lovingly appointed, which makes you feel right at home. The owners were extremely helpful with all of our planning and arrangements. The VIEW was incredible from the balcony and all of the windows. We loved the small town of Conca dei Marini and felt very welcomed by the residents. We enjoyed walking down to the beautiful church for Easter mass and picking lemons with the neighbors. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental!"
