Host was welcoming, very thorough walk through of the amenities. The eggs and milk were a nice complimentary touch and the use of the pool was very welcome on the hot days. Sound and privacy are a little lacking, you can definitely hear the host in their private space and unfortunately they could likely hear our little one cry due to the thin walls. A few small cleanliness issues with the pots and pans, but we just washed everything before use. Overall a nice stay, easy to get across with the ferry and friendly people all around.

Great, peaceful and quiet stay

The place was really nice and perfect for us to simply relax. Easy walk to the beach or an easy drive to Greenwell Point and Culburra. The finishing touch was a birthday cake for us.

I can’t begin to describe how wonderful and unique our stay with Chris and Maria on their beautiful Serenity Estate was! The hospitality is next to none! The charm is unmatched! The location and atmosphere amazingly beautiful. We had a great time at Serenity Estate for my wife’s birthday. Our one year old loved the Alpacas, the garden and the beach (only 20 mins walk away)! Chris welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around the apartment. He also showed us around the property the next morning! He was very kind to walk us all the way to the beach - and they very kindly had readied a cake for my wife’s Birthday. We will definitely be back as this was one of our most memorable trips!

Peaceful getaway

We had a lovely peaceful getaway from Sydney. The host was great and gave us a tour of the property and made sure we felt welcome. The pool was just the right temperature and very relaxing. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this experience and stay. The llamas were a bonus!

A hidden gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your well appointed, cosy and peaceful property. We could have easily stayed longer. I loved paddling my kayak in the lagoon, dipping into your pool in the afternoons and eating fresh eggs with tomatoes and spinach from your garden. Yum! It was also fun exploring the island on foot, and knowing the reliable ferry man was there for us whenever we wished to cross to the mainland. Thank you for offering your lovely property for holiday rental.

An absolute gem of a getaway

We as a family and the most relaxing time at Serenity Estate. Chris was a fantastic host with his local knowledge, eagerness to help with our 2 children explore the garden and the chickens and made us feel very much at home. The accommodation is spotless, with so many thoughtful extra’s, and the best fresh eggs for breakfast we had in a long time. We would recommend this property!

We loved the serenity! The accommodation itself has all the creature comforts you might need, and the location is heavenly, beautifully green with the sound of different birds in the background. My young daughter was the first one up every morning to help Chris the host pick up the eggs from the chooks, that was the highlight of her day. Amazing experience, getting away from the city and enjoying the peacefulness. You really feel like you've disconnected from the hectic urban life. Chris and Maria are beautiful people, so helpful and generous. Highly recommended if you long to get away from the chaos of the city and give your mind a chance to reset! We'll be back for sure!

very special location! great chilled back location

We had a wonderful time at Comerong Island! I’m so glad I stumbled across this gem of a place.Chris and Maria were lovely and generous hosts and had a lot of patience for my 4 yrs who loved the chicken, ducks and ponies and exploring the property. They have thought of everything at the accomodation which was clean, spacious and well equipped. It’s a quiet spot but we had great time exploring the island and lots to do round Nowra. Look forward to our next trip!

Quiet relaxing holiday

Comerong island is a quiet and remote place to relax and unwind. Serenity Estate is a cozy peaceful accommodation. Kids loved the pool and the chickens and ducks, and loved collecting eggs and fresh fruit and vegetables each morning. Adults loved the peace and quiet. The beach on comerong island was too remote (and unpatrolled) so we went back to the mainland for safer beaches. Some nice fishing spots on the island however. Note there are no shops or restaurants on the island. Would recommend if you are after a quiet place to relax amd unwind.

Excellent hospitality

Our family loved the stay at the property. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden and the swimming pool is a bonus! Chris and Maria went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. Definitely a place to visit again!

wonderful relaxing stay

Chris and Maria went out of there way to make us feel comfortable in their beautiful property. The home was well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated. Kids loved the pool and the animals on and around the property. We had fresh eggs and even got to try duck eggs. They lent us their fishing rods so the kids could give fishing a try, and when my thongs broke on the way home from the beach, they even gave me a new pair. We will definitely be back.
