"A clean and tidy apartment, didn't have any shampoo in the container (empty). There was a mechanical misfunction in the bathroom overnight, causing a loud banging on 3 seperate occasions, when I phoned to report this the following day I could only leave a voice mail and no one returned my call. The banging occured once on the second night. I am unsure if it was the air-con (we had it off in our appt) or, faulty pipework - whatever it was, it was loud enough to wake me and my 2 daughters each...

"The property is in the backyard of another property. The "studio" is an converted garage. There is no off street parking which you are not told about until you arrive. Access to the property is by a side gate down the side of the main house.. no lighting for night time arrival or departure. There is a gate at the entrance of the shed which the people in the main house can watch you come and go... zero privacy...
Would not recommend."

"We had 5 adults in our party and we found the house very suitable to our needs. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location near the shops was a bonus. The communication with the owners was also very good."

"Our stay at Shell House was wonderful. The house was truly delightful, with creative/artistic features, quality appliances and a relaxed urbanity. Alex was a generous and communicative host, and we can't recommend highly enough.Husky is a gem and certainly gave good weather and awesome vibes while we were there. We'll be back!"

"We had an amazing time. The cottage was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was easy access to the beach and a beautiful view. It would be amazing if there was an outdoor sun lounger/ recliner to sit on to read a book or enjoy the view rather than a chair. We will definitely be back."
