The bridge is listed; it dates from about 1860, and is built of "red sandstone and conglomorate, coursed, squared, dressed masonry, ashlar archivolt of arch. Single arch with splayed base, rusticated voussoirs, no parapet. Curved walls abutting bank ... Much of the sandstone came from the quarry situated Southwest side ... When I'm working in Devon I always stay here. Its perfectly comfy and its has good size rooms the parking is free and plentiful even in a large Van you can park around the rear of hotel. Close to tiverton town centre and supermarkets. Staff are very friendly too.

Checkin info was a breeze.Chris was an excellent host. He was there for any questions and was very accommodating. Granma's Cottage is charming. We loved the bath tub and the cosy kitchen. Great links from the train station at Tiverton Parkway. Thank you.
