"He estado alojada otras veces en este simpático castillo. Esta vez tenía que ir a ayudar a mi hijos a instalarse en la universidad de Bangor. Dos dias antes me vino una obstrucción intestinal y todo el dolor que conlleva. Sigo ingresada en el hospital y he pasado días muy difíciles. Entiendo que aunque era una reserva prepago, se trata de una causa de fuerza mayor, pero ellos no lo han entendido así. Me han cobrado el 100% de la reserva sin ser utilizada. Lamentable gestión. "

"The first morning my partner slipped & fell. Breaking his left wrist & a right elbow on which he needs a operation. There were no warnings about it may be slippy. Told owner who looked at me blankly & didn't offer any help. Had to come home two days early."

"Fantastic property in a great location just a few minutes walk from the town. Sean was incredibly accommodating from the minute I arrived, providing me with books and information of snowdon routes ahead of my climb! Absolute 10/10 breakfast cooked by sean, again he was very accommodating providing me the option to have it earlier than the usual time so I could get up the mountain quicker. If I ever return I’ll be sure to stay here again, fantastic stay."

"Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. All towels, glasses, cutlery in the room as well as bedding was very clean. The hotel itself has a unique style, very well thought through with stylish design and decorations. "Beautiful location with the stream running in front. Located in a quaint village - it was lovely and quiet! Room was lovely and very spacious and breakfast was delicious. About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. Sian and the cleaner (so sorry I forgot her name!) we're extremely friendly and helpful, even gave me access to their mobile hot-spot and helped with local attraction advice. "We had a lovely stay, breakfast was amazing!! The only thing we can fault is the bed, it was so hard and uncomfortable that we felt bruised and battered the next morning! Would of definitely stayed another night if it hadn’t of been so uncomfortable as the weather picked up on the day we were leaving "
