We were looking for a place to stay to go to our son’s graduation at Fort Benning (which is about 22 minutes drive). The house was neat and clean. We used the oven once to cook a meal and everything was fine. The only issue we had was with the water spout in the kitchen because it wouldn’t swirl to the normal tap in the sink. But I let the owner know and they said they will have it fixed.

This property was cute, clean, and conveniently located. The owner was responsive and the price was very reasonable. We used it for lodging while in town for a three day swim meet and it was perfectly situated less than 10 minutes away. The only downside was its proximity to the train. When the conductor blew the horn in the middle of the night, it was quite loud and woke us up (not every night, but two nights). I didn’t take off any stars for that, though, because it really isn’t within the control of the homeowner which conductors blow and when. Just letting others know - in the event that that would be useful information to know.

This little house, was warm and inviting. A nice home away from home. Nicely stocked little kitchen. Take use a little leave a little. Felt bad leaving a day early as we got some bad news back home and didn’t have a chance to make sure we properly checked out of the house like we were supposed to as we were pretty rushed and upset. I would recommend this place to anyone especially to the Families coming to see their Soldiers turn Green at Ft. Benning!!! Thank you so much for making our stay great!!!

The house was clean and as advertised by the photos. Overall, met all our needs. The only drawback is that it backs onto some train tracks and multiple trains come through per day-though not in the middle of the night so our sleep was not substantially disturbed and the neighborhood was very quiet. We would stay again if it met our needs.

The house is very old and the floors are uneven and dangerous if any balance ir mobility issue. The front walk was broken and umeven. No handrailson steps. Train is edge of yard and comes through all hours of the night. There was food in back of trashcan and trash init. The corners of the rooms n qoodwork were filthy. The house smelled like a musty basement. Probably cause the floors are so bad. Mold in the shower. Very disappointed. The couch is very broken down and washer and dryer rusty with something in washer tub

Cut home by many accomodations. Close enough to the base. Negatives;Matress and pillows were not any good leaving aches. A large vent took up the hallways, hard to step on. Made it difficult for us and my little one.We were not prepared for the train that would pass and honk its horn through the nigh to early morning waking those sleeping. With a little one, these items made it uncomfortable to stay much. We stayed else where all the days and only slept then left each day.

House was clean and beds comfortable. Property is in a quiet neighborhood, however train tracks are right behind the backyard and a train came through each night passed midnight and other 2-3 times. After a 10 hour drive we didn’t get much rest followed by the next few days. House is fixed up but could use some additional repairs. The bathroom fans are hanging off the ceiling and a power plug was exposed in the back bedroom. Otherwise it was okay to spend some time with my two sons. We appreciate the extra blankets.

The overall stay was really good. It does back up to railroad tracks. Thankfully not busy tracks, about every 6 hours or so a train came through. Otherwise very restful and good for getting to and from Ft. Benning.

I’ve never rented a property like this. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. The property was really small. The house was really old. The walk way was quite dangerous. I would have gotten a hotel had I known what to expect
