Was a decent little townhouse was just in town for a funeral and really just needed a place to rest my head it was perfect for what needed

Jayda was a very responsive host that was not aware that the house was not as clean as it should be. We attempted to find another place to stay but could not match the cost and the area. The unit is in a nice development and quiet. It has potential but needs attention.

Easy check in, very clean house. Pictures are up to date and show everything. Perfect for a one night trip to C-bus with some friends. Host was friendly and had quick responses.

My fault for not looking into the area better. Seemed pretty sketchy. Place was filthy. Dishes still in the dishwasher. Small patio that had 2 metal chairs that were more children size & one was broke & then a dirty nasty chair. We found TWO cameras inside, which we unplugged. Is the owner seriously watching people?? Very alarming! For the money this place was a mess. If they are going to continue to rent this they should certainly remove cameras & be honest about condition. At least fricken clean it!!

Reasonable price, quiet location near freeways, which made our travel around the city easy and convenient. Plus, there was private security company patrolling the complex periodically. The host communicated well via the VRBO app. However, the place was not as clean as we expected. There were cobwebs and spiders in many corners, the carpet on the stairs wasn’t vacuumed (I nearly stepped on a screw that was embedded in the carpet), and the 1/2 bathroom had mold on the floor and wall behind the toilet. The vertical blinds in the living room were missing some pieces. Upstairs, there was no inner shower curtain for the tub, there was a piece of art leaning against a wall in the bathroom, rather than hung on a wall. The fridge had a bunch of leftover condiments (from previous guests?). And the poor fish were swimming around in a filthy tank!We slept in the master bedroom. The bed was much too soft for our comfort, and the satin sheets were super slippery, so we were sliding around all night. The LED strip lights were completely unnecessary, and it was hard to find the switch to turn them off so we could get some sleep. ALSO in the bedrooms, the light switches don’t turn on any lights — there are no overhead lights, and no lamps plugged in to the outlets that are controlled by the light switches. Honestly, we would have been able to overlook everything else had the place been spotlessly clean. Sadly, this was not one of our better experiences with VRBO rentals.

Check-in was supposed to be at 3pm, we arrived around 5:10 and found that the apartment was still actively being cleaned. Would have been nice to have known beforehand that there would be a delay in check-in so we could have planned accordingly. We left our stuff and returned much later in the evening and were surprised to find the front door unlocked. Fortunately our stuff was still there. We found dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the beds incorrectly made with sheets put on sideways instead of vertically so it didn't fit), no cover sheet, wet towels in the washing machine, an empty bag of chips next to the bed and no trash bag in the kitchen garbage can. We unfortunately were not impressed at all by this property. It has a lot of potential but the decore is odd to say the least. The shower creeks with every movement sounding like it is cracking. The shower head connection is shooting water on the wall outside of the shower and will soon cause water damage. Our towels seemed to have been freshly bought but never washed so black fuzz/residue was left on our bodies after drying off. The beds are so squishy (I guess) that when you sit on them your rear actually touches the frame. The pillows were very old offering no support as if you are using a bag with cotton balls shoved in them. There is a fish tank that has a nasty film over the water surface because the filter is not working. The couch is very uncomfortable, more of a foam block than a couch. Feels very cheap.
