Beautifully restored home. The neighborhood is safe enough, no violence or damage was imposed directly to me or my family. People leaving notes about feeling unsafe had nothing happen to them directly as far as I can read. But I grew up in Columbus so perhaps I am thicker skinned.Kitchen was well stocked, except for no dish towels. Also lack of rugs at the entry doors made for messy floors we tried to keep clean.This is not a 10/10 review for only a few reasons:One is that there is inadequate bedding. No comforters or blankets, only 1 very thin blanket for each bed. The listing reads there is an air mattress, but we couldn't use it because there was no bedding for it. It was hard for the 4 of us to sleep in 2 beds, given our ages and relationships, and we definitely lost sleep due to inadequate bedding. The listing did warn of only 1 towel per person but it was inconvenient due to the amount of days we stayed, more than 1 towel would have been nice. The second reason is the cleanliness. There was animal hair around all corners of the floors, even on one of the beds (as if a dog layed across the top and it wasn't changed). The housekeeper was polite, but definitely not finished when we checked in at 4pm. Maybe due to holiday scheduling, no biggie.Again, beautiful and tastefully decorated home, might rent again, but we'll need to be better prepared with bedding, towels, etc.

Location was convenient but neighborhood concerned me initially as we drove up. Having garage was super helpful and made us more comfortable. Check-in process and communications were great. Greg was super responsive to addressing questions and a low battery on garage keypad was taken care of promptly. House is quaint and clean. Neighborhood ended up being quiet and safe and house was convenient for us attending Ohio State game.

Host lied n stated damage I didn’t even sleep n none of the rooms I slept down stairs the beds were dirty up stairs windows doesn’t lock you can tell it wasn’t cleaned before arrival there was dust everywhere this is a scam from the host and I do t appreciate it

Colombus Getaway

This house is great!!! I was a little concerned when driving up, but the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The garage is such a blessing. We liked how everything was laid out in a user friendly manner. The owners were so communicative and helpful. We didn't really need any help but I was confident if we did need something they would be on it right away. The location worked well for our adventures. I loved the shower head and the woodwork in the house.

Great location, backyard and decor

There was a lot about this property that we loved. The backyard was awesome, the decor was great, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was generally clean. The location was great for us. We had plenty of space and were comfortable enough. That said...we travel a lot, and there were small details that made this a four and not a five: The host did not respond to specific questions sent in the app during our stay; There was something sticky on one of the sheets - it seemed like something from the wash, and the sheets had obviously been cleaned, but it was still off-putting; the sheets were also very thin; Finally, I got a splinter in the hardwood floor. Bad luck, but wear socks!

Great location, nice property

The property was clean and nicely laid out. We were allowed to bring both our dogs so the enclosed backyard was a godsend. There was plenty of space for my husband, myself and the dogs. The location was very convenient for downtown which is where we spent most of our time. Nothing the hosts can do but the neighborhood was littered with trash. It was a windy weekend, so maybe that was a one-off. There were a few non-urgent, minor issues which the hosts were very responsive to. (blown light bulb, for example).We will most likely reserve this same property in the future, if available.

Well restored and comfortable home in improving neighborhood

Upon arrival to the house, I questioned the safety of the neighborhood. The area is clearly going through significant gentrification, as there are newly updated beautiful homes side-by-side with those more run down. I was glad to have a garage to park my car in and a fenced in back yard. Over the course of my stay, I became more comfortable with the neighborhood and never heard or saw anything or anyone scary. The house inside was perfect. Beautifully restored with a great kitchen, comfortable beds and shower. Phenomenal value! Just a 10 minute drive to downtown, which I did twice daily. I truly appreciated last minute being able to check in early and stay late.

Great place and wonderful hosts

The house is exactly as described. Beautiful and large. The bathroom, shower and tub were my favorite. The yard is huge. The host communicated daily and frequently asked about our needs. A couple of extra blankets downstairs would be a nice touch. Iwill definitely be staying here next time in town.

Friendsgiving Weekend

This is our second stay at this lovely property. The location was excellent and the house is nicely equipped. We enjoyed a potluck dinner at the large table with friends. We will definitely be booking again in the future.
