The cabin was decorated nicely for Christmas and was cute and clean for the most part. I did have a couple of concerns I wish I knew about before booking. The main floor looked nicely updated but the upstairs needed work. There was mold in the upstairs shower. Also the button on the stove was put on wrong and the burner was leaking gas when we arrived and most of the next day as we didn’t notice until later. Lastly, there was no working carbon monoxide detector anywhere as it was advertised there was. The host did respond respectfully to my concerns while there, however, I hope they’re corrected for the next guest.

Great Stay

We had a great stay in the cabin, however the cabin was not very clean and there were items not working so we had to call maintenance which came out promptly and worked on items but some could not be fixed. I would recommend a deep cleaning and the maintenance to go through and check fans, lights and other items that may need repaired. Need new beds none of us got a good nights sleep, recommend new mattresses for all.

Brilliant Place

We drove up to this beautiful house with brilliant fall colors highlighting our time. We found everything as described. The house is located to enjoy Brown County. It provided a great time together. The hot tub is inside a closed in porch that gives a good view while you enjoy the hot bubbly! We had a great time and so will you.

Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our short stay - the cabin was clean and we enjoyed the amenities. We were close to hiking sites in both Yellow Wood and Brown County. We enjoyed the town of Nashville also.

We had a great time in Brown County. The house was conveniently located and very nice. The kitchen and eating area was well appointed and clean. Bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable and well laid out. Hot tub was fun!

Perfect cabin!

Miss Loretta's Cabin was awesome! We loved it. It was most accommodating in every way possible. The only concern we had was the bbq grill on the deck was in a bad need of cleaning before we could use it. My husband spent an hour cleaning the grates of all the grease build-up that could have potentially caused a fire. Other than that, the cabin was perfect! We would definitely lease again should we ever plan another trip to that area.

Family get away

Very nice, clean spacious house, as seen in photos. Kitchen has everything you need. Short drive to Nashville for shopping, wine tasting and great restaurants. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub and fire pit. Our host was helpful, answered questions quickly. We’ll definitely return to this cabin for future trips to Nashville.

Spacious and Jacuzzi was amazing!!

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. We only got to enjoy it for 2 days and wished we had stayed longer. We couldn't find a washer/dryer on site but other than that we were content. Would highly recommend!

Family getaway

This is our second stay at the cabin. We enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. The cabin is nicely stocked and very clean. Went into Nashville and did some shopping. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. Great place and we are hoping to return next year!

We had a wonderful time staying at Loretta's cabin. It was very spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area again.

The perfect getaway!

If you are looking for the perfect getaway, look no farther. Ever year my wife and I rent a cabin for a getaway. This cabin was perfect for our week long stay. Beautiful views, quiet, comfortable, modern appliances, grill, deck, and screened in porch with a hot tub. In short, cabins don’t get much better than this one! Also, since we were at the cabin for a week, there were contractors who needed to do work (lawn and hot tub maintenance). These appointments were communicated to us days in advance and neither interfered with our vacation. Furthermore, any questions I had were responded to promptly. If you are looking for a great cabin for a couple or for several families, this is the one!

Girls Trip was a 10/10!

This cabin is perfect for a large group of people. Very spacious. Plenty of sleeping arrangements. Great outdoor entertainment area. Love that we got to use the hot tub! Already planning a trip back soon!

Open cabin with plenty of room

Open kitchen and family room allows everyone to be together during meal prep. Bedding is all really soft and nice quality. Kitchen and grill run on natural gas which is nice. Could have a nice time here with a couple families. Felt a little big for our family of four, but that’s not a bad problem to have! Thank you.

Great little weekend get away

We were looking for a cabin off the beaten path where we could go and relax with friends over the weekend. Loretta's Cabin was exactly what we had in mind. Upon arrival we were very happy with the cleanliness of the home, the spacious rooms, the great gathering spaces, and the options for entertainment (pool table, ping pong, hot tub). Although it was only two couples, we could have accommodated three couples with ease and could have added kids if desired due to the bunk beds and the additional twin in one of the bedrooms. The cabin is about 5-10 minutes from Nashville, IN and a short drive to Bloomington...but still away from everything to a certain degree...which is what we were looking for. We will definitely be back to Loretta's cabin in the future. The owners were very easy to deal with and very quick to respond to any questions that we had.
