"We come to Hood River once a year. Usually stay right in town. Not anymore. This lodge is 1 min away from Main Street. Directly on the Columbian River. Beautiful view. Spotless clean. So quiet which we don’t get being right in town.. Nice grounds. Room was comfortable with super comfortable bed. Staff so friendly. Family owned with long history. Games at front desk. Thoughtfulness of amenities appreciated "

"Hosts were outstanding on check in. I arrived later in evening around 7:30 pm and they were friendly and receptive and recommended dining options. Even walked me down to the cabin to show the way in the dark. Room was immaculate and beautifully done and very comfortable. Would stay here anytime when within the area. Good location and convenient to attractions, dining, and all basic staples."

"The motel is nice, clean and the staff is very nice. The location is not so great since it is across the street from a truck stop. You are about 100 yards from the river but can't see it due to the truck stop. The motel is a good stop off place if you are driving."
