We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! Our kids (ages 15, 14, 12, and 10) enjoyed exploring the property, fishing in the private pond, and sleeping in the large, comfy bunk beds. We all enjoyed the sunrises, sunsets, comfy outdoor furniture, and abundant wildlife (turkeys, geese, ducks, and deer)! The property is just as pictured and is close to numerous restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed day trips to Franklin, downtown Nashville, Vanderbilt for a baseball game, and Tuscaloosa, AL to take in a second baseball game. The indoor furniture isn’t as comfy as the outdoor furniture but with the incredible views, you probably won’t want to spend much time inside anyway! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Be sure to grab Kcups if you’re coffee drinkers! Fishing rods needed to be purchased but we left them at the property in hopes future guests could make use of them as well. The only thing we missed from home was our pillows! Thanks for a week of incredible memories…we hope to visit again one day!

We loved staying at this cottage

We absolutely loved staying here. The cottage is roomy, comfortable, clean and the views are just beautiful. To be on so much land with few neighbors and still be close to shops and restaurants and “things to see “ was amazing. The owners were a joy to work with, personal and quickly responded to emails. We look forward in staying there again

New Year Stay

The cottage was a great choice for a New Year's holiday stay. The check-in was challenging but was fully resolved by the owner the following day. The property is breathtaking and very comfortable. I hope to visit again during a warmer season.

Heaven on a hill

We lucked out and stayed with perfect weather and the fall colors very prominent. Spent hours into the night sitting on the porch making memories. I had my elderly parents with and they also fell in love with the property and my mother has not vacationed for 30+ years. Would highly recommend and hope to possibly revisit again.

The perfect space for my group!

We stayed at the cottage for to host our small intimate rehearsal dinner with family and friends. Then stayed the night with all of my bridesmaids! This was the perfect location to stay at near my wedding venue. Everyone who came was blown away by how beautiful the property was. Our only complaint is that the driveway needs four-wheel-drive to get up. We had a lot of people with smaller cars who had problems getting up the very steep gravel driveway. We ended up having to leave a couple of cars at the bottom but it worked out fine!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We didn't want to leave! The house....AMAZING. Views...SPECTACULAR. Brad...AWESOME. My girlfriends and I wanted a trip away from the city to disconnect from work stress and life in general, and this place DELIVERED. Thank you for this oasis. Whatever we needed, the house provided. I was supposed to stay off of social media, but ended up Instagramming everything, so I'm sure I'll see this house pop up again on my feed.

Great stay!

Awesome property! Extremely clean and the check in/out process was extremely easy. Only 1 true bedroom, which was a little misleading on the listing. But other than that, I highly recommend!

Cozy Bachelorette

We had an amazing weekend here! The space was beautifully furnished and supplied with everything we could have needed. We had gorgeous views of the autumn leaves all around from the hilltop, and the various indoor and outdoor spaces offered lots of variety for hanging out together. And Brad was such a wonderful host, kind, helpful, and accommodating! Everyone agreed, we wished we could have stayed forever!!

Weekend Refresher

The house was exactly what is advertised and more! Our college kids slept great in the double bunks. The loft area with comfy couch was great to watch a football game. But the highlight of the house is most definitely the outdoor areas. Everyone had so much fun fishing in the pond where we all caught a few fish! The outdoor couch and fire pit was our favorite for sunrises and sunsets. Looking out to see the cows grazing was just perfect! We will definitely be making a future reservation! Brad was great at communicating through the trip.

Absolutely perfect!

I stayed here the night before and of my wedding with my bridesmaids and it was absolutely amazing! The house and property are beautiful and have all the amenities you could ask for. The beds are also all ridiculously comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful Stay

Property is beautiful and secluded, yet close to all the amenities needed. With three little girls we loved the bunks, and master bed was so comfy. Note, driveway is VERY steep. Brad had mentioned it was steep, just took us by surprise at how steep it is. Beautiful property, outdoor areas were perfect for lounging, enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Awesome Property

Our family very much enjoyed this property near Columbia. The house was very clean and well furnished with attention to details. Loved the front and back porches. Kids loved the bunks and having their own space. We brought firewood and had fires by the the property lake each night while the kids caught bass. Fishing was very good. During the day we lounged on the furnished patio while taking in the Tennessee hills side scenery while playing games. Columbia has a lot to offer regarding hiking to waterfalls, gift shops, restaurants and breweries. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely visit Columbia again and will consider this property if available.
