Peaceful getaway!
Home was a great fit for our vacation. Location was great. In the mountains but not too far for getting what’s needed or doing activities. Quiet and so peaceful. Exactly what we needed. Hope to come back someday!

Winter Wonderland Vacation
The property was stunning, and the home was magazine-worthy. The home was clean and well taken care of. We needed nothing, everything we could ask for was there. Kyle made it clear that he was on hand for anything we may need. He was very personal and accommodating. Kyle told us that this was the deepest snow that he had seen since he was in school. The property was a winter wonderland, and we will never experience this in our life time again. Kyle was so accommodating that he came out on Sunday morning to pull us out of the snow/ice-covered driveway. We will be customers for life!!! See you all next year. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

Great Property!
This property is fantastic! Everything was exactly like it was advertised! We enjoyed the secluded spot and even an evening under the stars in the hot tub! I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Awesome!
Definitely a great rental. Couldn’t complain about the awesome heated floors, hot tub, three bathrooms, huge kitchen, kicking sound system! We definitely have plans to comeback to this place!

Winter wonderland weekend
Everything was clean and the cabin is very comfortable. We savored our days there as we watched the 12 inches of snow fall through the gorgeous windows. The owners were very attentive and plowed the driveway twice. The only challenge with this cabin is the noise from Hiway 24. Everything else was fantastic.

Roadtrip 2024
We left SE Texas without a destination. We found this beautiful home the day before we checked in. The place was so beautiful and the scenery was amazing. The house is everything plus! Awesome mountain get-away!
A great place to stay with privacy in the mountains. My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights away from the kids, but the place is large enough for our family of 6. It was clean, well-appointed, and the layout is excellent. Heated floors were a bonus. Cap's Pizza is a 5 minute drive and it was very good.

Wonderful Cabin
We had an amazing stay at the cabin! The photos on the listing do not show that the living area has was updated with wood like flooring. I was concerned it was carpeted as shown in the picture and that we would bring in some of the gravel and snow from outdoors especially with our dogs. However, it worked out nicely with the flooring. It was clean and had everything you needed. Our four legged family members loved it out there. I have read some comments that you can hear the highway from the cabin. This was not an issue, we quite liked that the main road was not very far from the cabin. The roads were well maintained. We did have some snowfall, which was great as it allowed our kids to sled down their long private road. Pikes peak, Wolf and Wildlife center and the town of Divide are short drives away. Most definitely recommend 4WD if you are visiting during the snowy season.

Fantastic Colorado Cabin
This cabin was in a great location, had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay including a hot tub, stocked accessories in the kitchen and 3 decks on which we enjoy some quiet time in the evenings. The hosts were fantastic, and it was very apparent that they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. They were in touch with us before and during our stay and were very responsive when we contacted them. It snowed the night before we left and Kyle (host) was at the cabin the next morning to make sure the lane was cleared for us. All in all a great experience for us - highly recommend.

Beaver Lodge Oasis
My family and I stayed at the Beaver Lodge and it was awesome! The hosts pretty much thought of everything. All the essentials you would need and even darkening curtains in the rooms. The private hot tub viewing the mountains was beautiful and relaxing. Probably our favorite place we have ever stayed in Colorado. Such a hidden gem!

Family trip with grandkids ages 6 & 9
We chose this place for three main reasons: location, hot tub and pets allowed. The location is remote and away from other homes or businesses. The property does sit close enough to the highway to get some road noise but you can't hear it from inside the house and we usually listen to music when sitting in the hot tub so we didn't hear it then either. If you want to have the windows open during the day or at night you might be bothered by the road noise but it is only a two lane highway so it isn't that bad. The small town of Florissant has a few restaurants and a cool laid back vibe. We did the fossil hike (about 2 miles) with the kids and they seemed to enjoy it. The drive to Colorado Springs/Manatu to see Pikes Peak and Garden of the gods was an easy 45 minute drive and we had time to spare even doing them on the same day. Going the the other direction toward Lake George is also an easy 20 minute drive and you will taste some of the best BBQ in the nation (no joke!) at Fat BBQ Shack. It's pretty famous so some people are smart and call in their order before going there (we did not). In this same area is a very gorgeous scenic drive through Eleven Mile Canyon. Don't miss this! Just make sure when you see the sign that has three options take the one to the right (very important!) or else you better be in an off road vehicle ready to ride over boulders. As for the house, this host has thought of almost everything! The kitchen is fully stocked and we loved everything!

Gorgeous cabin in the mountains with a great host
Beaver Lodge was gorgeous beyond gorgeous! Huge windows over looking the mountains and rolling clouds, a few deer in the morning, and a nice stream to walk alongside for a spell. The host, Kyle, was amazingly easy to work with, proactively communicative, and quick to respond. Highly recommended.

Mountain Vacation
Disappointed that is was literally right above a main road with lots of road noise. The property is nice but a little difficult for my smaller kids to navigate. The internet was too slow to accommodate Roku so we didn’t have tv for the kids in the evenings but there were movies and games that made up for it. The home was beautiful and clean and the owners very responsive which is appreciated. Overall we had a good stay at the Beaver Lodge.

Absolute Perfection!
From the moment of booking to the checkout, we had a fabulous experience. The hosts are gracious, kind and attentive. The house is gorgeous surrounded by lovely woods. Inside, you can tell it was built with love and cared for with the same. It is one of the best equipped homes I have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect and comfortable!! I would HIGHLY recommend this house to anyone wishing a peaceful and gracious home away from home!

Fantastic views and very relaxing
This property was a great introduction in to Colorado. The views were gorgeous and the isolation was just what I needed to unwind. It’s an isolated property at the end of a long dirt road but still convenient to the surrounding towns. The property is very well appointed and comfortable even in the snow. Kyle was great, checking in on me as a snowstorm was coming through to make sure I had everything I needed in case I had to hunker down for a couple of days. I look forward to returning. A perfect getaway!
This is a lovely property that offers everything you could hope for in a mountain getaway. It’s close enough to explore the area but secluded enough to truly get away from it all. We’ve been coming to this area for years and have stayed in a lot of properties. This is the most well stocked property by far. Everything you need from cooking a gourmet meal to relaxing in the hot tub is ready for you!

Beaver Lodge
Great location for "day trips". Cabin was clean; well equipped for cooking/eating in although plenty of restaurants to chose from (Thunderbird Inn!!). The heated floors were a bonus as was the hot tub. The host was very accommodating. Beaver Lodge supplied the peace & solitude we were looking for in a vacation home. We plan on a return trip in the fall...it was THAT good!

Perfect Cabin Getaway!
As newly weds we wanted to stay somewhere relaxing, quiet, beautiful, and lovely. This cabin was ALL those things! Our favorite spot we’ve found! The hot tub, windows to look out to the beautiful scenery were amazing! Kyle was prompt, kind and made the stay amazing. Definitely will be back. Memories galore were made here! Perfect stay!

Spacious, scenic and superb
My husband, myself and our two small pups enjoyed exploring the property and watching the sun rise and set the days we were there. The scenery and serenity are perfect. You can hear cars from the freeway but it’s easy to ignore. For just us, we had a ton of room to get ready for our elopement without running into each other. We made use of the fireplace and had a movie night followed by some stargazing on the back deck off the bedroom. Thanks to the Eichers for a beautiful getaway, we hope to be back soon!

Excellent Mountain Escape
This was exactly what we wanted for a couple nights- seclusion in the mountains. We brought our daughter and dog and we all loved our stay at this property. The house was clean, property was nice and had everything we needed, including good internet. We didn't see anyone else at all but we're still close enough to town if needed. The highway is close but at night outside you really don't hear much highway pollution. The best part of the trip was seeing our dog in this environment - off leash with no distractions around and free to roam. Most dog owners don't understand the challenge of a dog who isn't dog friendly - so being able to let him explore freely and unimpeded for a couple days will be the best memory of the trip. Thank you for the dog-friendly listing!

Great Staycation
We loved the house and it had everything we needed to cook all our meals. The house was very clean and comfortable. We came from Colorado Springs for a staycation and we enjoyed the nearby wolf sanctuary and the fossil beds and trails. We did stop by McGinty’s in Divide for pizza after a long hike and the the food was awesome.

Beautiful Cabin & Beautiful Memories
We were extremely pleased with our stay at this lovely mountain cabin! The cabin itself is sparkling clean, well laid out and well equipped. Being able to roam around the thirty acres it sits on was a great experience for our children. The cabin also seemed very welcoming to children and even had some toys for our three year old to delight in. Even in the middle of the summer, we were able to enjoy the hot tub in the cool mountain air. The location is ideal as we were able to go to Breckenridge one day, and Pike's Peak the next, all within reasonable driving distance. Just 10-15 min from the cabin are beautiful trailheads and picnic areas. We especially enjoyed our time along the South Platt River. I can't recommend this as a family vacation enough!

The Beaver Lodge gave a very at home feeling. Very accommodating and beautiful property with a beautiful view!

Great location very quiet and secluded from other homes.
We thought the home was superb. Loved it only issue was we had a major rain storm making the road a little rough but we got thru it and once the rain stopped it was ok. The home was perfect for our visit being close to town yet was so quiet and secluded. Will definately use this home again for a visit.

OUTSTANDING!!
Kyle was so accommodating as we had to change our dates. The house was perfect & exactly what we wanted. We loved the hot tub & the movies provided! We plan to go back!!

Great place to stay!
This is a beautiful place to stay with everything you need to feel at home. We stayed here and drove to Colorado Springs, Canon City, and Cascade for our fun outings each day. The drive was beautiful and not too far.
