I had a great stay! The host is very attentive, kind and considerate. What a beautiful location- nothing outside the door but beautiful mountain scenery. Great amenities like a hot tub, kitchen items, outdoor gear. Home is clean, well organized and convenient. Would recommend this stay to anyone and plan to be back. Thanks for the hospitality!

Beautiful location!

Mark is a very gracious and thoughtful host. We had a great time and enjoyed the hikes just a few steps away from the property. We saw many rabbits and mule deer. The neighborhood is eclectic and close to many restaurants and things to do.

Best View / Location

I can't say enough positive things about Mark or the property. The views were breath-taking, the location was PERFECT and my husband and daughters and I all felt at home. Mark was attentive and helpful when it came to all my questions and with suggesting things to do in the area. The house was absolutely perfect for my husband and I, our adult daughter and our teen who made the lower level into her hangout! All the beds were very comfortable and the amenities were plentiful! If you need something during your stay...chances are it is already in the house! We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

Wonderful stay in Colorado Springs!

We had an awesome stay at this home in Colorado Springs. Such a beautiful place in the BEST location. The stocked pantry was a huge perk and something you never see in vacation rentals. Very clean and comfortable - lots of attention to details. Just cannot say enough great things about this place and the host. We rent a lot of places and this was by far the best! We will definitely come back.

Amazing spot

What a unique property. The view and trail access is superb. The backyard is amazing. We saw deer every morning. The supplies at the house were impressive - literally anything you might need in a pinch. Has all basic laundry, shower and paper supplies. We will for sure be back!

Pleasant stay at Mark’s place

We had a wonderful time at Mark’s place. It was clean and cozy and the views were amazing. The pantry was stocked with goods including seasonings to cook meals. Mark even dropped off some complimentary food items the first day. He was such a great host and was very responsive and even came to the property to clear some ice around the steps for us. I would highly recommend his place!

serene hideout nestled in the foothills

We loved our stay in Mark's rental. The rental was situated in a small neighborhood that had trails on either side. We brought our bikes over and were able to explore the trails on bike and foot. Mark was gracious enough to provide us w/ some maps of the area that we found very helpful. All in all, our family had a wonderful time. Our family spent most of our time on the top floor. Kids preferred sleeping in the bedroom next to the master bedroom. It was a challenge keeping that room warm. But the kids dressed up a little and were able to sleep comfortably once they let us know. Fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom help pre-warm the rooms for occupancy. The kitchen was well stocked and that enabled us to do a lot of cooking at home in these pandemic times. Mark also provided us w/ clorox wipes which was very helpful. During our stay, we also got some snowfall on 1 of our days. Coming from a southern state, the family enjoyed playing in the snow. We also had several walks and bike rides in the surrounding trails. I was able to hit the more challenging trails while the fam was taking a break. We also got to use the clay chiminea in the patio and Mark had stocked up some kindling ready for the fire. After a day of biking and hiking, sitting down to the backdrop of the cheyenne peaks and a cozy fire was the ultimate relaxer. We also got to meet some friendly neighbors. Many were also curious about our EV that we brought all the way for 900 miles with a bike rack filled with 4 bikes so we were happy to share information on that. Our family had a blast and Mark's rental was a definite hit.

Nice property with great views and location

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was great to sit outside and enjoy the views while drinking coffee or over wine. The house was well stocked and even had some nice touches, like Clorox wipes. Location was close to almost all the main attractions. Mark was an excellent host and would respond almost immediately to any questions I had while I was staying there. Highly recommend this place

Awesome location and quiet

The house was perfect situated with a short drive to Manitou Springs or Old Colorado City which we’re both awesome! The hot tub with a view is great! The host was easy to get in touch with and was always available if we needed him. We give it 8 thumbs up!

The Perfect Landing Spot

Mark's place was the perfect landing spot for our adventures in COS. We loved having coffee on the porch, listening tot he chimes and watching the birds, squirrels and deers. We enjoyed being able to hike right from the backyard. And enjoyed dinner on the porch every evening. Mark was an incredible and helpful host!

Wonderful Canyon Retreat

Wonderful views! This property is in an excellent location for exploring all around the Colorado Springs area. Tucked into a nice neighborhood it's also quiet and relaxing after a day checking out the sights. There are hiking trails accessible right out of the backyard so you don't even have to travel by car to have a good experience. The house had everything our family of 4 needed. The beds are very nice and comfortable. The owner was very interested in our comfort and enjoyment of the house. The house felt like a home away from home. Just a great experience all around.

Perfect Hiking Location!

For a family of hikers, Mark's place is absolute perfection! There are miles and miles of trails right out the back door. The home is beautiful and comfortable and watching the sun rise on the mountains was gorgeous each morning. After a day on the trails, the hot tub was a treat! We look forward to our next trip and highly recommend this property to others.

Perfect house and location. We loved the Mountain View from the hot tub and hiking right out of the back yard. The house was bigger than we expected and very clean and well stocked. Excellent place for a mountain weekend!

Amazing views and terrific owner

Everything here was absolutely wonderful from the amenities, the closeness of the owner makes ensures if anything is wrong (which nothing was) it can be fixed very quickly. The backyard is the crown jewel of this VRBO, with a hot tub, sitting area, fire place, large yard, and a view that could rival the Grand Canyon. This VRBO is filled with anything you could possibly need and anything they don’t have, there is a Walmart and other stores not even 10 minutes away. I highly recommend this amazing place for anyone who wants to be in Colorado Springs, because you won’t find much better than this.
