This is a cute studio cabin right on the creek in Manitou. Great kitchen with new appliances and a good amount of stuff to cook with. Short walk to downtown Manitou, but not right in a high foot traffic area. The back area on the creek is so nice, it was a great retreat spot. Great to have our own parking. Checkin/checkout was so simple. We had a great time.
The property management is great! The box fan in the cabin broke, since we had our own we didn’t contact them right away, but set it on the front porch just to get it out of the way. We went out for the day and there was a replacement fan on the porch when we got back!
Just a few cons/just be aware: there is no air, but they do provide a fan, and we brought our own. With a little pre planning you can keep the cabin cool, but it is something you have to be aware of in the summer or it can get hot in there. The bathroom is always hot. The main cabin is well insulated though, when we got it cool, it stayed cool. The bed is rough. It is a full, and is old…if you are large and older like me and my husband, it is not very comfortable. I wish we would have had an air mattress too. The pullout couch is only a foam thing, so again…not a great alternative for large old people…perfect for kids though…my 12 yr old thought it was great!
