Beautiful property
Really enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. We enjoyed the drive up County Road 61 to the property and on our way to Cripple Creek. Even though it was a dirt road it was very well maintained. We saw a couple of elk while we were driving. The cabin was really nice and we enjoyed the fireplace on the cool early mornings and cold nights. Cabin was depicted very well in the pictures. Enjoyed walking around the property. Really wish we would have been able to meet the host. We needed more paper towels and bath towels but never saw anyone to talk to. We weren’t sure if the yellow house is where the host was located or not because the email said not to check in there because it was a private residence. They really need to update their listing. It listed breakfast items would be in the fridge and checkout time was listed as 11:00 am. In the email they sent they did state breakfast items would not be provided and checkout time was actually 10:00 am. They have a keurig coffee machine and it was nice they provided some cups. There was also a basket of snacks on the table but everything except for the granola bars were expired.

An adorable, secluded mountain cottage
Unique architecture, a wonderful main room dominated by a large bed, and a pastoral mountain setting all contributed to a wonderful, quiet stay. We travelled a short distance to Cripple Creek for a day trip and to eat during our trip as well. Highly recommend the location.

Peace and tranquillity
I loved this place! The river was unreal! I felt like I had the whole place to my self! The only issue I had was the plumbing noise that happens now and then. It would wake me up a lot at night.

Cozy Retreat with Kitchenette (Oven Substitute)
Cozy cottage. Great for relaxing. The microwave convection oven did an amazing job on our baked dinner--bacon wrapped stuffed chicken breasts and frozen rolls. I was unsure about using the "oven," but found that the display prompts you with directions. The fireplace and quality sheets, and jacuzzi tub added to the sense of comfort and relaxation. Although measures have been taken for pest control, the efforts need to be increased.

Small slice of Heaven on Earth
The property is phenomenal, gorgeous everywhere you walk. The place itself was perfect for 2 people, very secluded, very romantic, very cozy. Cooking space was limited but doable. Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space too. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very romantic cabin
Very good romantic cabin for two. Nice and clean. Great architecture. Management is on-site, but non-invasive. Lots of thing to do around. PS No cell service for AT&T.

Likes and Dislikes
Property we rented wasn’t described well enough! We didn’t realize there were several rentals in a row. We also did not realize there was no oven for cooking etc, very tiny! Loved the creek, cabin had more living area than two people needed except for lack of a kitchen. Probably prefer a more isolated stand alone cabin in future. Price high for what we got!

Honest Review
The cottage was cute and clean. Close to everything, However, the mattress was very uncomfortable, the shower head was terrible, there are mousetraps all over( but for good reason, we caught one) not a big deal for us but it could be for others. Bring your own breakfast items, none provided, disregard what is stated on booking. This sounds like a bad review but it is not, we would most definitely stay here again, but the booking information needs to be updated as follows; parking is crowded, four homes within ear shot, no oven, Keurig coffee machine , no coffee pot as pictured ( we brought coffee and had to go back to town for K- cups).

Perfect getaway!
Our family of 5 stayed in those Colorado getaway and it was fantastic! The kids had a blast playing down by the creek, the grill was wonderful for dinner and we loved hearing the birds and creek at night. Thank you for a wonderful time! It was just as described and a perfect end to our trip!

Perfect slice of Heaven
This place is beautiful and the location is isolated! That was perfect for us as we wanted to unplug! The accommodations were everything promised and more as there is no way to describe the beauty of this place! The only down side is, you will not have cell service, with AT&T anyway, and Wi-Fi is very slow. If you need that for anything more than checking email this isn’t the place for you. But, that was disclosed in advance. There is NO Oven at all. That’s my only complaint as we were there in winter and there was too much snow to grill on the outdoor grill. Perfect slice of heaven for out 7th anniversary trip!

Slice of paradise
The cottage is adorable! Very clean and comfortable. The location was peaceful and beautiful. However, the phone number provided to contact the property manager was not in service. The property manager was not on the property and never contacted us during our stay. The food listed was not provided as promised. There was no washer and dryer on the premises as listed. The shower handle was loose, and the television did not work the first day and the last day of our stay. Molly and her husband were fabulous and assisted when they could but limited on what they could do to help. We did enjoy our stay.

Get-a-way Perfection
This was the perfect get-away for a nice relaxing weekend. The cottage was clean, quaint, beautiful, and just steps from the river. Property is luxurious, manicured, and well maintained. The check in instructions although provided a number to call with questions and to give our arrival time. This phone number is not a working number. Otherwise the stay was perfection. We can’t wait to visit again.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at the Williamsburg cottage. It was very comfortable and well appointed. The creek right outside of the door was a built-in playground for our small boys. We would book again.

Remote & Beautiful!
Beautiful property off the beaten path. The grandkids ages 6 & 8, son in law & me, grandpa had a wonderful time. The grandkids had more fun playing in the mountain stream behind the cabin, with the caretakers well behaved children than they did at any of the tourists sites! Relaxing & fun!

This was such a beautiful property. The location was wonderful. Proximity to the stream and main road were good. The interior was larger than we expected. Nice and cool even in late June because of the elevation. Great nearby hiking. Clean, serene, picturesque. Loved it!

Restful
The location of this gorgeous property was perfect. It was quiet, peaceful, and stunning. You’re literally at the base of a mountain, surrounded by aspens and pines, and a creek right outside the door. It snowed the first day and a half we were there, and it was story book beautiful. The lodging itself is equally gorgeous. I loved the sitting room, and the huge warm fireplace in the bedroom. The bathroom was well laid out, and the entire place equipped with everything you need for a stay.

Quiet stay in the mountains
The photos do not do this property justice. Everything was perfect for our stay. The cottage is lovely and cozy, and the fireplace is amazing. The property has a creek that can be heard from the doorsteps of the cottage and is quite relaxing. We would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves!

my partner and I stayed for 3 nights at this property, and we had a blast just staying in, playing games, painting, cooking, and watching the snow fall. It was peaceful and private, and our host even lent us a massive soup pot when we asked. I'm really grateful for the trip.

Perfect mountain retreat
My husband and I came up for two nights to get away and celebrate my birthday. The little cottage was absolutely perfect! We were looking for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of city life and couldn't be happier!! The stream is right outside the door, the fireplace is in the bedroom and the bathroom is large and inviting. If you need to get away and relax, this is your place. We will be back again and again!

Not going back
Molly was great but the we were told it was a full kitchen and we brought a roast to cook and had to go next door because our unit had no oven. Kitchen utensils were scarce, and we couldn’t see to cook our meals, could not get ahold of owner and Saturday in the middle of December the heat went off! Needless to say neither my husband or I got much sleep!

The girls managing this property are awesome to work with! They made our Anniversary weekend very special. The Cottage and Colorado mountains were amazing! This cottage was perfect for the 2 of us quiet cozy and beautiful even in late Oct early Nov. We will be back!!

Cozy, romantic mountain getaway
Adorable colonial cottage in an idyllic creek side mountain setting. Quiet, serene, and wonderfully equipped for a few nights getaway. The gas grill and jacuzzi tub made this a perfect luxury escape! Our weeknight stay let us enjoy the stars above the empty dance floor of the wedding/gathering area.
