Large 6 Bdrm Family Home near Park & YMCA Rec Center

  • Enjoy this updated ranch-style private home with Colorado/Western decor. All new furnishings and beds. This home has 6 private bedrooms and 3 full baths - 3 bedrooms are on the first level, including the master suite and 3 more on the lower level. The property is situated in a quiet family neighborhood and is walking distance (3/4 mile) to an award winning park with trails. Relax in a private, fenced back yard on partially covered patio with a gas grill and fire pit. NO PETS, NO SMOKING.

    Cottonwood Creek Park and Recreation Center is a 77 acre award winning community park providing picnic tables, slides and swings playground, snow sledding, four soccer fields, three softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, in-line hockey court, disc golf course, and walking/running paths. The recreation center is a YMCA facility with an indoor pool and fitness center, and is available to the public on a pay-per-day basis.

    This home is perfect for Air Force Academy graduation and events. It is just 12 minutes from the South Gate entrance off I-25.

    The home is centrally located so that going north, south, or west you are only 20-30 minutes away from so much that Colorado Springs has to offer: Garden of the Gods Park, Old Colorado City, Peterson Air Force Base, The Broadmoor Hotel, Seven Falls, Manitou Springs, Fort Carson, Pikes Peak and Cog Railway, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
    Grocers, shopping, and restaurants are only a few minutes away. 10 minutes to UCCS.
    30 minutes to Colorado Springs Airport, 90 minutes to Denver International.

    For the security of the home and our guests there is a motion activated camera located in the front doorbell outside.

Very nice 6 bedroom place. Spacious indoors and outdoors area. Clean and very well kept up. Would definitely do again with 10 to 12 people.

This property was extremely clean and well equipped for our family vacation. The description of the listing was very accurate. The toys were a hit with the grand kiddos. The location is ideal for access to family friendly trails, especially garden of the gods. The zoo is also very close and amazing.

Great getaway

Wonderful Hosts

We enjoyed our stay during the State High School Bowling Tournament and we're grateful it was close and convenient. The hosts were wonderful to work with and we appreciate their attention to anything we needed.

Great stay!

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. The backyard was great for eating and enjoying the beautiful weather. The house was very clean and the host was friendly and communicative.

Loads of space!

This home was perfect for our staff retreat. Everyone had their own comfortable bedroom and the living spaces were big enough to hold us all. The kitchen is very well appointed, making meal prep quick and easy. Lois was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful!

Comfortable family stay

My family (8 adults) had a great time staying here for a long weekend. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for all of us. We especially enjoyed spending mornings and evenings on the back patio wnd the proximity to the park and shopping. Check-in/out and communication with the owners were seamless.

Great family space

The place had everything we needed. There was plenty of space with cozy feel. Check in was easy and check out directions were clear and simple. Highly recommended! Off street parking too.

Perfect for our extended family of 10

This house is located close to anything you might want to do. We traveled to Cañon City and Manitou Springs. Great location. The floor plan was incredible for our group. Everything was very comfortable and cozy. Loved it. Would stay here again if ever in The Springs.

Location

Plenty of room in the house. Backyard was private and roomy. Kids played a lot out there. Location was great, not far from a lot of sights that we visited.

It was the easiest vrbo experience. Check-in and check-out was so simple and easy. You can just show up straight to the vrbo, no need to pick up and drop off a key. The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The backyard was great. It’s about 20 minutes away from a really fun downtown area. The vrbo owners were incredibly kind. It was an amazing experience, and I’m so glad we picked this vrbo.

Pre and post wedding stay

This was a beautiful house and perfect for the siblings, parents, and grandparents of the bride. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us. We enjoyed all the space and even had enough room to host brunch with the grooms family the day after the wedding. The outside patio area was a beautiful setting for brunch and the evening campfires. Definitely will stay here again next time we are in the area.

Extended Family of the Groom

With SIX bedrooms, this property was perfect for aunt/uncle couples to stay--less than a mile from the groom's parents. It's basically in the CENTER is Co Springs and right by Cottonwood Creek Park, so convenience is a strong point here. The property is lovely, functional and spacious. Anytime we have family in town, this will be my choice for accommodations.

Military funeral

This property was perfect for our family and the location was only about 20 minutes away from the Air Force Academy where the funeral service was. The communication with the owner was excellent. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Beautiful home and decor! We had plenty of space for our group of 9 to gather in the common areas but also to spread out when we wanted. The outdoor/patio and basement/play areas were definitely favorites! Checking in/out was a breeze and instructions were simple and easy to follow!

Cranberry Lane

Our stay on Cranberry Lane was perfect for our weekend in Colorado Springs. Lois was an awesome host that had all details covered in advance, and really had no need to contact her. We were comfortable and had sufficient space. We had great access to everything in Springs and beyond. We will definitely consider Lois' properties if we ever visit the area again. Thank you for a great hub for our visit!

Great home, very clean and spacious, comfortable beds

We had a great stay at this very clean home. The host, Lois, was extremely accommodating. She thought everything to make our stay very comfortable. We all loved our beds and the soft sheets. The home had everything we could possibly need and the check-in/check-out process was clear and easy. Will definitely stay here again if we are able to come back to Colorado Springs. Strongly recommend!

Colorado Living

The home was exactly as listed. All the rooms are great, plenty of space. Backyard was very nice. Parking was good with the garage available. Instructions for the home were very clear and it was easy to understand what to expect and to do for the stay there. I would highly recommend this home to anyone, thank you!
