Great location, very clean, quiet neighborhood, hot tub was nice, animal visitors were darling! Could've used more towels, downstairs bed and pull out were very comfortable, upstairs bed leans a bit. Definitely would stay here again!

We stayed for two nights. Everything was labeled which was helpful. Clear checkout instructions. Bed was comfy. Only minor thing was the bed was a little noisy when turning during the night. Would recommend staying here.

Great stay in a lovely town

Overall, the place was great! The hot tub did require me to top off the water, and fish out some debris, which in turn gave me the need to fix the hose storage box so it would spool properly. Additionally, wasn’t able to get the fire pit working. But the house itself was great, the yard was beautiful- and was often visited by deer which was lovely. I would recommend the stay.

Small and beautiful

This was our 3rd time staying at this farmhouse and we have loved it every time. The communication is great and the property is so close to the sante fe trail is wonderful.

Relaxing stay at the farmhouse

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in monument this past weekend. The place was very comfortable and had tons of charm! The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day! We definitely plan on coming back next time we are in town to stay here- Thanks for the wonderful weekend!!

Great place for us to stay for a visit with our son and family.

The old farmhouse has two bedrooms albeit we only used the one on the first floor. It was nice and clean. And with enough room for my eife and I and our small dog. There was a few inches of snow on the ground when we arrived making it a bit difficult to unpack the car. But a snow shovel was available to makesome paths for ourselves some

Monument Vacation

We had a great stay at the Old Farmhouse. We did a lot of exploring including hiking, mountain biking, and some fishing. The property is in a great location, right on the edge of downtown. Easy walk to restaurants. Hot tub was great, front porch and sideyard made for great outdoor hangouts. Bonus is the Santa Fe trail literally is right out the backyard. Easy bike ride up to Palmer Lake. Hosts were very nice and responsive to questions. We highly recommend!

Cute, Cozy and Close to Wedding Venue

We booked the Farmhouse because they were accommodating to fur-babies. We traveled from Michigan with my daughter’s dog with us as he in her wedding. Nice and close to the venue yet peaceful and quiet. The yard may not have grass but perfect to play a little fetch!

Great, but--

We stayed in this cute old house a year ago and enjoyed it so much that we came back this year. It's clean, well supplied, good location. BUT 2 annoyances from last year, which were communicated to the Host, were still annoyances this year--full trash can when we got there, never emptied during our stay, despite messages. Also, Non-working fire pit due to empty propane. That was fixed expeditiously last year and this, but it was annoying to deal with.

Lovely area

What a lovely picturesque little city! It was much like you’d see in the movies. There were parks, shops and restaurants within walking distance. And being just outside Colorado Springs was perfect for our plans for the week. The house was adorable and comfortable for our group. There were 2 bikes on the property that the kids rode around one evening. The upstairs bedroom has the best view from the balcony! Everything we needed was available when we checked in and it was seamless check-in/out process. I really appreciated that we didn’t have to strip the beds or start a load of towels in the wash before we left. All they asked was to take the trash out. I would 100% recommended this property to anyone looking to stay in the area!

See the new baby trip.

The house is clean well stocked and in a great location. There is an awesome waking trail that goes for miles right behind the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location!

Great location for walking to town, etc. Great porch for sitting on and watching the 4th of July parade, and enjoying a glass of wine before dinner and watching the bunnies and birds. Very quiet and peaceful. Did not have enough time to use the great firepit and hot tub!

Great Getaway!

We loved this house! Small, quaint 2-Bdrm, 2-Bath may not be right for a large group, but was perfect for a small family. Great location with easy access to the Santa Fe trail and walking distance to downtown Monument. Really enjoyed our stay!!

Great Location

We loved this house, its older but has allot of character and wow what a great location. Great quit neighborhood with lots of walking options, plus quick access to grocery store and the interstate. Cant wait to be back there!

Perfect

This place was so so cute! The hot tub, fire pit, swing, upstairs patio & room with electric fireplace- all of it was perfect. We stayed here after our wedding as a little couple day wind-down following and it definitely helped us relax. It’s a great location to downtown Monument with easy walking options.

Character with modern amenities

This house, built in the 1880s has been lovingly updated to include clean, modern amenities. The stairs up to the second bedroom are steep, and the floors are uneven, due to its age, but the whole experience was charming. It is well stocked with supplies and good quality cooking utensils, and is close walking distance to stores and restaurants. AND the regional trail runs behind it. Great place!

Misleading ad

The little house was clean and very cute, with a spacious bedroom and kitchen. However, we were unable to enjoy the yard since there wasn’t any grass - only overgrown weeds on the entire property. We weren’t able to speak to or contact the actual owner either. The added fees and extra charges were the most alarming to us, making the daily quote online more than double. We stay at VRBOs frequently and have never experienced such fees nor absence of the actual owner.

Quaint Little House - Beautiful Setting

This is an old house that has been nicely remodeled. I'm not sure how old it is, but it has doorways where I felt like I needed to duck (I'm 5'11''), and you had to watch your head coming down the narrow stairway. The bedding and mattresses were great...clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a comfortable, quiet place to stay in a very beautiful part of Colorado. Highly recommend if it suits your needs.
