Charming and Convenient
Great for a couple. Loved the location, located on one end of the long Manitou Avenue street full of small town restaurants and gift shops. To be sure, it is an old house; but if you are fine with that, then this gives you all that you need. We would stay here again.

Awesome house and area
Perfect house for the two of us. So close to so many great nature locations. And great to be able to walk downtown with ease. The only small issue was the fireplace didn’t work. We would stay there again in heartbeat !

Cozy and comfortable in Manitou
I had a wonderful stay here. The house itself is great - cozy but not cramped and perfect for my solo trip. The backyard is wonderful and right on the creek so nice and serene. Location is nice, too - five minute walk to great coffee in the morning, but not in the middle of the crowds when things got going in the afternoon. The owners were also super responsive and helpful - when I texted with a question about the TVs, they responded instantly and got me sorted in no time. Great stay and I look forward to the next one.

The Best in Manitou!
I’ve stayed on this property a few times and love everything about this home. It’s right in town, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and hiking. The hosts are wonderful, communicative and easy to get in touch with if needed. 100% would recommend.

PARKING!
This is a great little property to stay at in Manitou Springs. It is a great location right on the main strip. The only downside to this property is the parking. You cannot park right in front of the house. There is a parking lot a few houses down that the house has a pass for but it is also a pay to park lot. Therefore, you are not guaranteed a spot. This becomes a problem when you are trying to come back from a long day of sight seeing and have to try to find a parking spot somewhere until something in the lot opens up. This becomes a real problem when there is an event going on in the park! Also, when you arrive, there is nowhere to stop to drop off all of your luggage. They say they are working something out with the city to solve this problem. Hopefully they figure something out soon!

Adorable house in a great location

Wonderful little home!
My husband and I stayed at this property a few years ago, and were very happy to get to stay here again for the Pikes Peak Ascent. Check in was very easy, home was clean, very comfortable bed and couch..we were able to park out front most of the time but the lot is a short walk away if you need to use it. You can’t beat the accessibility to the downtown area for food and shopping. Everything is within walking distance! We will absolutely stay here again next time we are in town!!

The property was great. Everything was clean and worked. The property was in a great location. Just a short walk to downtown. Our only complaint was the parking was difficult. There is a parking pass provided but not always space. Maybe better during the week.

No parking
The house was great. Just what we were looking for. But, there is no real parking. Since the house is at the end of an extremely busy street parking is limited. The road in front of the house as well as the sidewalks are under construction, thus making unloading groceries and suitcases very difficult. No fault of the owners. After circling the parking lot a block away for 20 minutes, we finally found a parking space. Then had to make several trips across construction to bring our grocery and luggage into the house. My suggestion to make this an absolute dream place to stay is to use a portion of the front yard for a parking pad. This would solve all problems. Due to the parking situation we didn’t feel comfortable driving out to many of the wonderful hiking trails as we didn’t know if we would be able to park anywhere close by the house.

Pleasant, with a few hiccups
Our initial experience with this property left us a little uncertain…the information about check-in was confusing and the email was buried as it did not arrive as originally stated…partnered with major road construction on the road of the house - I would have anticipated any check-in information to have mentioned this. The house was cute, quaint, perfectly sized and clean. However, it’s location was a little misleading. The picture shows a nice neighborhood with grass…however it’s the only one on the street with grass. Of course that’s a funny story not related to the house itself (note to self: if you leave at 5am, be ware of sprinklers!) It’s not really as close to the downtown area of Manitou Springs without walking through some uncertain areas. The neighbors two doors down had some loud shouting, the stores two doors the other direction had some vagrants. Neither of these were what we were expecting in this small little town.

Great Location to town and activities. inside very clean. Due to distance to parking and MAJOR Road construction loading/unloading was complicated. The back area was close to a creek - but the area and tables, grill, etc. needed to be cleaned.

Loved the little blue house by the creek
The house had everything you need. The kitchen was well stocked. There were even breakfast makings when we got there. The bedroom was air conditioned & we liked that there were drawers so we could unpack (not always the case). The living/dining/kitchen also had an ac. I wasn't thinking we would need ac in Colorado, but we really did while we were in Manitou Springs. We especially loved the creek behind it. Very peaceful to sit out back & listen to the water. We didn't want to leave!

Little, blue, and convenient
We stayed for a short weekend getaway. The house was very clean, and ready for us when we got there. The house is older, but seems well maintained. The patio is right ON the river which was fantastic. The entire main drag of Manitou is walkable within minutes. The only issue is parking but a provided parking pass makes that easier. The owners were very responsive and helpful. All in all a great little hideaway for a weekend.

Nice location
Pro: Wonderful sitting area out back next to creek, with very friendly nosey squirrels that were fun to watch. Bed was very comfortable. The house had everything you could imagine, from kitchen to bathroom, even little shampoo and conditioners. Location has everything close by, even a market with all sorts of stuff to stock the kitchen. Neg: the house was hard to locate because of construction and the fact that the whole house is blocked by a giant piece of concrete in the road made it super hard to find. The house isn’t far from parking lot at all, but no sidewalk makes it hard for someone unsteady on their feet. The house itself does not have many negatives, it smells weird lol but what do you expect from a house over a century old!. Other than that, we would recommend this house!

Perfect location
We had a great stay at Manitou Springs in this little house. We were walking distance to everything, which was a huge plus since parking in town seemed like a struggle. The property was perfect for what we needed. The only advice I can give is to bring DVDs because there is no way to login and stream Netflix/prime video etc. I recommend this rental, the value is great for the price.

Best location!
The house and location could not be better. Wish we had more time. We didn't sleep well the first night because of noisy neighbors and there was a mouse in the kitchen trying to get into a package of cookies that we left on the counter. I understand there may be little critters in the mountains, but a warning to put everything in the fridge or cupboards may have saved me from having a heart attack in the middle of the night.

If you're looking for location, this is it!!!
I was a little skeptical of the reviews, but believe them! The house is walkable to Manitou Springs shops and restaurants. I do not believe there could be a better location. We walked to eat a couple of times and also made a stop at the small grocery two doors down. It's a close drive to Garden of the Gods and other sites you want to see. The Master bed was comfortable and the house has everything you need. It felt safe and cozy. If we had one complaint, it would be the sofa bed. Not the best. But I can see why the owners would be hesitant to change it out as the couch is great! Overall we would recommend this place and would stay here again. The creek behind the house is lovely. We were entertained by 2 beavers taking down a very small tree during our stay.

Cute little place with a great location.
This was exactly what we needed for our last minute trip to Colorado. The location was perfect. Walking distance to parks, stores and restaurants. Short drive to most of the sights we wanted to go see. The house was as cute as can be. When we were at home we Spent most of our time on the back patio. The relaxing sound of the creek. Was just the reset we needed. Ray was helpful through the entire process. Would highly recommend this to any couple or small family looking for a place to stay.

Great location, walking distance to food and shops and easy access to get out of town.
Comfortable house with everything you could need. Well equipped with modern appliances for cooking or you can grill out back. (Or walk down to the local places for food... which is what I did. I'm not cooking on vacation.) The property is well taken care and the owners are great. They were quick to respond and always with more information than you requested. I would absolutely stay here again.
