Not a great fit for my family. It was as advertised, but I overlooked no central air. We arrived to an 89 degree house, no window air conditioner turned on, and a hunt to find one box fan tucked in a closet (I requested and recieved another fan the next afternoon.)We never got the tv working, likely dead batteries in the remotes?? The living area is not cozy or conducive to relaxing. The backyard is nice, but 15 minutes of yard work would make a world of difference because it’s very overgrown and full of brush. There was no umbrella/shade at the outdoor seating areas.I put garbage in outdoor can and it was full from previous renters.Home is hosted by a company and I suspect that’s the issue. No attention/care to detail.

Perfect for our stay in CS

Great location. Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Fenced yard. Quiet street, walking trail right behind the house. Park nearby with playground. Safeway within walking distance. Will stay here again if available when visiting Colorado Springs.

Great location

Property is well maintained and a gem in the neighborhood. There's a trail right behind the house...a great place to walk the dogs or ride your bike. There a neighborhood coffee house and cocktail bar...Stir...it's close enough to walk to. Great place.

Awesome location

I think overall it was a awesome location. Love the neighborhood. Friendly Neighbors. Reasonable priced and easy access to all the amenities. Maybe the only complain I have is the cigarette smell that came from the house. It goes away after you saturates your olfactory receptors, but you can still feel it when you been away for a while and come back! Take that away and it was a perfect place to explore the city.

The host(e) are a nightmare

The host(e) are a nightmare! From the moment i booked, the harassment never ended. After jumping through all the booking hoops, like emailing a copy of my id and paying separately through their private site, ugh. Then I was bombarded with email and texts trying to sell me other "experience's, like a private chef" . I told them immediately not to send me more, just check in instructions please. That apparently made them turn it up a knotch. I received so many texts that i blocked the number, then they used a different one. Finally when i checked in. The threats on the wall to welcome me "that if you leave bloody sheets, $60. Smoke, they have a sensors, that's 2k!" Really? Who leaves bloody sheets? And after the Pine sol smell wears off, it smells like a chain smoker lives thier. Day after i arrive more texts and email, they wanted me to take out thier trash cans and retrieve them the next day, even though i was checking out that day. Finally night before i left(same day), of our 2 night stay, check out instructions arrive in text and email very late, i was asleep. Then again at 659 am they gave me more check out instructions via text in case i was sleeping in? And wished me a happy stay.. How could someone possibly have had a good experience at this place? It was like every cruise and timeshare pitch ive been on; combined. I don't know if this company also does debt collection, but they should consider it. Also, no useable TV whatsoever, netflix works, using someone who checked out and never logged off... I mean you can't even get the local channels to come in? The drip coffee machine also doesn't work, fyi.

Great place!

Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay here very much the neighborhood is awesome and the place is cute, and perfect for a family our size (3) plus a big labradoodle. Only complaint would be that the pictures specifically say king size bed and the biggest bed in the house is a queen the other is a full. This was a huge disappointment at first because our son is notorious for getting in bed with us at some point in the night and I am not a small guy. That being said still a great place at a very reasonable price!

Great Stay in a great location

Great little place in a fantastic neighbourhood in old North Colorado, Quick drive to the downtown core and walking distance to amenities. The place is great and the managers were instantly accomodating when we requested to extend for a few more days. Highly recommend!!

Check in details given 48 hours prior to check in accomodations not as described or as pictured beds not comfortable tub was not cleaned when we arrived there was dust everywhere coffee maker broken huge sunflowers everywhere in backyard and in front many dead or lopped over and also mosquitos EVERYWHERE so we could not even spend time in the back yard. House was cute only 1 AC in front I had to purchase a fan because the bedrooms got hot at night and no circulation but from windows but it was too hot outside to open windows and let more heat inside. SO we considered it like a camping trip since I already paid this large amount to stay there we had no choice. Dryer had some issues also. Wifi not working and TV only could get couple of channels

California visit to Colorado

We were supposed to visit in August, but we were evacuated from out home due to the Caldor fire. Our host understood our dilemma and allowed us to reschedule our reservation. The house was very comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. It has all the amenities you will need. We will definitely stay the next time we are in Colorado Springs!

Great place for family and dog

A safe, clean and cozy place for our family and our dog: We loved our stay here - except for the broken toilet! Our dog was able to run and play in the fenced in yard, this was a delight. It was also great to have a washer and dryer at our disposal and we loved the wooden floors and clean environment. I contacted the manager from the moment we arrived to let him know that the toilet flushed but it took almost 45 minutes for the tank to refill before it would flush again. The manager kept promising someone would come to fix it. Someone apparently came the last day we were there, but did not fix the toilet. I would have been happy with a sincere apology and an explanation why the toilet was not fixed after promising us it would be fixed. If the toilet is working, this is a nice place to stay.

Wish we would have known…

The toilet is only 13” from the floor making it difficult for anyone with hip or knee issues (or if you’re over 5’9”) to get up. We had to purchase an elevated toilet seat to bring it to “comfort” height. The toilet paper holder is at the perfect height if you’re a pre-schooler, only 2.5 tiles off the floor. Also, be prepared to purchase your own toilet paper as the one-ply they provide is like 110 grit sandpaper on your bottom. All soft seating is also low so barstools were the only seating option available to me. Hard and cold with no back support. Furnishings and decor were sparse and very DIY. No grass in the front yard or backyard for your Fido. Ceiling fan in one bedroom only so we slept hot every night. Only one window unit for the house. Also, even though I received all the emails about checking in and checking out, owners insisted on texting me which was super annoying while on vacation. Overall, 3 stars, but wouldn’t stay there again.

Our stay at house on Colorado Springs was great. House was very clean and bright. Nice to have a closed in back patio for grilling and sitting. Location was very convenient to Garden of the Gods and Palmer Park.

A short getaway!

My college aged kids and I just wanted a short getaway for spring break. Due to the pandemic we haven’t been anywhere in a year. We choose this location being somewhat close to home and near interesting sites. Unfortunately it snowed most of the time so we couldn’t go where we planned but it was nice to relax, read, watch Netflix, and walk our dogs. The house is in a cute neighborhood, close to a market, and has beautiful Mountain View’s.. One suggestion I would make is to have directions available for things like the TV. The only thing I could get to work was Netflix and that was after some trial and error. All in all I loved the house and location and would really like to go back when it’s warmer. Thank you for allowing pets too. Our two small dogs enjoyed their walks in the neighborhood.
