This was one of the best VRBO we have stayed at, the Host communicated with us whenever we sent anything. The home is very clean and well appointed. It is stocked with most all essentials and is close to everything. It also had a garage so when you got home late you could get out and go inside.

Truly felt like home away from home. Had every amenity we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking/dining in, the location was convenient for dining out in Old Colorado City. Hike & bike trail was close by. Quiet neighborhood. Full size washer and dryer. Garage/ample parking. Upstairs deck. Comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

INCREDIBLE! This home is spotless and located perfectly for adventure. Beautiful mountain trails are so close that we were able to do several quick hikes daily. Spacious relaxing livingroom with windows to the mountains and daily deer seem on hillside across the street. Also, a chest packed full of games. Super plush towels with baskets of essential toiletries offered for the taking. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed to make usually three meals daily. Very quiet at night, except for a few welcomed wildlife moments. Beds totally comfortable. Spotless garage. College kids stayed in lower level and master was on first level. Provided a private area for all with full bathroom on both levels. The next two mentioned items are important. The rooftop deck is worth every moment of enjoyment. Excellent addition to a wonderful home. Lastly, we got to meet the super precious owners who truly enjoy making your experience top notch. I’d look no where else upon our next visit to Colorado Springs. P.S. The road you might see in front of home was quiet and we enjoyed seeing all the bikers coasting down or pushing there way up as they passed by. LOVED THIS STAY

This was an amazing property, and we would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Colorado Springs.The beds were incredibly comfortable, the house was stocked full of amenities (both in the kitchen and in the bedrooms in case you forgot to bring something with you). We spent time each night up on the rooftop patio, just sitting and watching wildlife and enjoying the beauty of the mountains. We didn't get to use the fire pit because we went in the heat of July, but that would be perfect for a chilly night!! Counting Stars is, by far, the most comfortable stay we've had at a VRBO.

A Perfect Stay

We absolutely loved this rental property! We've stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this was probably our favorite. Debbie was great with communication about finding the property and the best way to unload, as well as recommendations for the area. She surprised us with a delicious treat upon arrival. And, she has the place stocked with everything you could possibly need. It makes it feel like home! All the linens and paper products are high quality, too. It makes a difference! The beds were so comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud. The neighborhood was quiet, and the rooftop patio has a great view. The location is perfect for being close to everything in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. We loved this visit and were sad to leave so soon. Thanks for giving us a great start to our trip!

One of the best rental experiences we’ve ever had. The host was amazing and the care they put into the property and the renters experience is obvious. They provided great local recommendations, info on nearby activities, and even baked us a welcome treat. The location was perfect for us as it was just minutes away from the things we wanted to do and see like Garden of the Gods, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and Cave of the Winds. And at the end of each day, we would relax on the rooftop deck and watch the wildlife across the road. Highly recommend!

Clean, Comfortable, Quiet and a Panoramic View

Grandparents looking after grandson while son and daughter-in-law attended a wedding. The house was immaculately clean, quiet, roomy enough for us, beautifully furnished, very well equipped, and had very comfortable beds. Bedrooms on different levels made for great privacy. The host was very helpful and accommodating. The 360-degree view from the rooftop deck is beautiful. Unfortunately, rainy weather prevented us from enjoying the fire table up there, which would have been a cherry on top. Overall, it was an excellent place for our stay.

Wonderful House!

"Counting Stars" is the best VRBO property I have ever rented. The location was perfect. It was so easy to visit Garden of the Gods, Eyrie Castle, Seven Falls, The Broadmoor, Pikes Peak and the Royal Gorge. Very close to Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City and downtown Colorado Springs. The house is so comfortable and fully equipped. The roof top deck is really great with nice views and a fire pit. The host, Debbie, is wo derful yo work with. Her response time is so impressive and she provides wonderful suggestions and information. Do not hesitate to rent this property. You will love it! Pikes Peak

Absolutely Amazing

We were in town over the holiday weekend to visit our son who lives nearby. This property is very well appointed with our needs being covered. We enjoyed the roof deck and the perfect Colorado fall weather. Beds were also very comfortable. The owner was great with communication. (written by our 13 yo who loved it) - This property was the best house we could’ve stayed at in Colorado Springs. It was perfect for our family needs as we were able to watch movies in the family room and hang out and talk on the rooftop patio - that was the best. The lot was just two blocks down and an easy walk to a spacious park with a swing set and park equipment and it had an open area with a perfect spot for some games like football.

Location and Amenities!

This duplex has such an awesome location. It’s 10 minutes give or take to the Cog Railway Depot, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Garden of the Gods, downtown Manitou, and Old Colorado City. The home is very young child friendly with a garage to park in, bathtubs in both bathrooms, and a park just down the street. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the hostess even left us a welcome note and a tasty treat. The beds were heavenly! We had such a wonderful stay!
