Hiking Weekend
I came to hike at Garden of the Gods and hike the Incline at Pikes Peak. It was the perfect destination for both! House we perfect. Ann was the absolute sweetest! The property was so relaxing. I will be coming back as soon as I can get away again!

Truly a Sanctuary
What a wonderful place to stay for my first visit to Colorado. We gave The Sanctuary and Ann a much deserved 5-star rating. From beginning to end, The Sanctuary was amazing. We arrived to fresh baked cookies, and started the next day with Ann's delicious fresh baked bread and jam. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are well taken care of. She provided all the amenities you will need for your stay. She takes the stress out of traveling due to her attention to every detail. The Sanctuary itself is truly comfortable and charming, from the bedding to get a good night's sleep, a comfy sofa which is a must when relaxing and a nice patio to enjoy the outdoors. We are looking forward to our 5-star vacation next year.

Perfect for CO Springs getaway
My husband and I stayed here due to the proximity of the property to a hike that we wanted to try. The property is lovely and Anne is a warm and welcoming host! It’s obvious by the personal touches and attention to detail that she wants her tenants to be comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again. As a side note, try the Wines of Colorado restaurant located across from the community if you stay here. We ate there twice; the food was delicious and the service is super friendly. Grab a reservation as it seems to be very popular.

Adorable place
Had a wonderful stay. The rain was a bit much but we still managed to explore the area and get in a few hikes. Ann, the hostess, is wonderful. Very nice and accommodating. Thanks for the hospitality Ann!

Spring Break ‘23 A&H
This was our second time staying at the Sanctuary of the Rose. Ann is a wonderful hostess! The beautiful little casita was the perfect retreat and gateway for our spring break activities. Ann made us feel like family. And when it snowed, our car was magically cleaned of snow. It was niceties like this that made us truly appreciate their hospitality. The accommodations were very comfortable and charming.

Anniversary Trip
Great hidden retreat for my boyfriend and I to celebrate our anniversary together. Ann had wonderful recommendations for food as well as the LDLO event at Memorial Park. The property was lovely, clean and extremely comfortable.

Great host!
The Sanctuary is a beautiful place and was perfect for our 3 night stay. The property is exactly as described in the listing, was very clean, and in a good location. There’s no kitchen, but the provided space was perfect for coffee and a light breakfast before heading out for the day. The back patio was nice for a glass of wine in the evening. Ann was a great host. She met us to deliver the keys and go through a few things in the home, and was quick to reply with any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying here!

Cozy and Comfortable
This adorable property was perfect for our recent vacation to Colorado! The setting is peaceful and quiet and looks out at Pikes Peak. It met all of our requirements for convenience to Manitou and Colorado Springs, cleanliness and comfort. When needed, Ann and Chuck were great hosts who were able to provide a wealth of information to help our vacation go smoothly. We loved our time at Sanctuary of the Rose!

Beautiful Mountain Serenity
The Sanctuary of the Rose was such a beautiful property! The location in the mountains is perfect for a peaceful stay, and close enough to Manitou and Colorado Springs (10 mins to Manitou Springs and about 15 to Colorado Springs). All of the accommodations were very comfortable, and Ann is the sweetest! This location has everything you need for the perfect Mountain getaway!

Sanctuary of the Rose Is a charming adobe styled guest house built in the 1930s. It is the perfect place to retreat after a day’s adventure in the Colorado Springs area. Your host, Ann greets you upon your arrival and is very welcoming. The Sanctuary of the Rose as it is named is truly that -a sanctuary. Well appointed rooms with Spanish style decor and the comforts of home make this a great place to lay your head while in the area. The hosts made us feel welcomed and shared lots of information about the restaurants and activities to do in the area. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect Vacation at The Sanctuary of the Rose
We just returned from a 3 day stay at the Sanctuary. The pictures and description were 100% accurate. Ann and Chuck were also 100% perfect hosts. The location was within 15 minutes of Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, Flying W Ranch, and Cripple Creek. The furnishings were clean and well-kept. Cute Mountain Getaway
Great little place with beautiful mountain views. It is just outside Colorado Springs (~20 minutes) and Manitou Springs (~10 minutes). Hosts were very nice and the guest house was very charming.

Cozy Mountain Cottage
My friend and I absolutely loved staying here. It is nestled in the mountains across from Pikes Peak Highway with gorgeous scenery all around. Ann was so great to check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend it.

The cottage was just what we were looking for. It was quiet, clean, and a little bit funky. Close to activities we were interested in. Anne was very nice, greeted us, and made sure we were settled in. We will definitely return.

Sanctuary of the Rose is a lovely little house with lots of personal, interesting touches. It’s easy to access both the high mountains as well as Manitou and Colorado Springs. Ann and her husband were delightful to deal with if needed but not intrusive. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Perfect spot for sightseeing
This little adobe was absolutely perfect, Ann has the perfect location for sightseeing. Away from the city and quiet.i sat on the porch and watched the hummingbird. We were so close to Pike’s Peak,the cliff dwellings, old Colorado, manitou Springs, and the Garden of the Gods. The adobe was super clean ,with lots of information on things around the area.. You could have just stayed here for relaxation as well and would not get bored. Ann has truly thought of everything you need.

Relaxing retreat, just perfect
Loved this vrbo. Had everything you need and more. Ann and Matt are wonderful host. We will be back. The deer were so close and fun to watch. The location is perfect for your Colorado activities. The bed was perfect and everything was very clean. Matt has beautiful flowers. If u don't stay here, you are missing out.

Quaint, cute, and convenient!
A relaxing experience and a wonderful trip! A private, wooded setting very close to hiking, shopping, landmarks, and restaurants. Lots of amenities including soft towels and bedding, quality personal care products, water, snacks and coffee. We also watched movies from their DVD collection after active days of hiking and exploring. Well organized and professional owners. We had a great time!

We loved our stay! We were close to Pike’s Peak, Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. There is plenty to do in easy driving distance. Mrs. Ann was always available if we had any questions. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing
Ann makes your stay here feel as if you are home. This is our second stay here and will not be our last. This little cabin is comfortable, cozy and quiet. It is very close to Colorado Springs and all the sites but out of the way and very relaxing. From wine in the fridge to chocolates on the table this cabin is the place to stay in the Springs area.
