Spectacular Property!
Karen and David have created a wonderful, "Home away from home" with this property. A quiet setting, very clean and well stocked bathroom and kitchen, a soooo comfortable bed, and a nice room to relax and watch t.v. after a long day of hiking. The only down side was having to leave!

Perfect conference retreat location
I was in Colorado Springs for a conference at the Broadmoor, and this was a fantastic location. I was able to walk to my lectures daily, but was able to cook and prepare meals without the cost of eating at the Broadmoor! The trails across the street were great, as was the coffee shop 5 minutes down the road. The cottage itself was perfect, very comfortable, clean, awesome claw tooth tub, and SUPER comfortable bed. Quiet. Very good communication with hosts. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place and location
We’ve stayed here before and love the location and comfort. The kitchen is perfect and we even cooked some meals here. I love how close it is to a beautiful hiking park. The hosts are very kind. The whole experience is wonderful. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

A European-inspired Charmer!
This stunning cottage is small but mighty! Such luxury and attention to details— toilet paper rolls are stamped, towels are neatly rolled, shelves are cleverly stacked with needs and pretty decor. And super clean! Truly, a most delightful stay!

Bella Cottage was a wonderful place to stay while in town for a work conference at The Broadmoor. Karen and David are excellent hosts. They communicated efficiently and were wonderful to work with - A+ hosts!

Week in Colorado
We truly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was as advertised and very convenient to The Broadmoor Hotel with great places to walk, eat, and shop. This was in walking distance from the cottage. We enjoyed the area. The Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak were beautiful. There was so much to do that we thankful the bed was so comfortable. I would high recommend and look forward to returning to the area.

Comfortable Cottage
A sweet little cottage tucked behind the owner’s house. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. This is a perfect spot for a couple looking for a secure neighborhood close to many of Colorado Springs natural attractions. I’d happily stay here again if I return to the area.

Bella Cottage was very comfortable and was close to many attractions and hiking trails. We even saw some deer right outside the cottage. Located in a nice, quiet area with off street parking. I would recommend this property to others wanting to stay in Colorado Springs.

Beautiful Bella Cottage
We arrived to the cottage to see lights glowing through the windows to welcome us in. The first room you enter is the cozy, high-end kitchen. The rest of the home has a dining area for two, a spotless bathroom, a comfortable living area and bedroom with plenty of closet space. Outside is a beautiful patio with furniture and luscious greenery to relax by. The "welcome book" is full of recommendations for dining and site seeing. We loved our three nights at Bella.

VRBO Perfection
This was the most charming perfect little honeymoon cottage. It was super clean, comfortable and had a wonderful little outdoor area with table and chairs, lounger, and grill. The hosts were very friendly and helpful too. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again if in the area.

Very Welcoming and as Described - Would Come Here Again!
This is a wonderful little cottage for two people who want a quiet, clean, and comfortable place to stay. The owners give you an accurate description of the place, but it is really better than the description. Great value. We appreciate the opportunity to stay here. We would definitely try to book this cottage if we ever return to Colorado Springs.

Bella Cottage
We stayed three nights and this was our second time in Colorado Springs and this was a perfect location. It’s close to many hiking trails including one across the street. The cottage was cozy, comfortable and quiet. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils and we used the kitchen for breakfasts and one dinner. We did not take advantage of all the amenities in the cottage. We may have with a longer stay. We hope to return soon

awesome little cottage, we loved it
This wonderful cottage was everything the reviews said about it. One of the best Vrbo stays we have ever taken. Location was perfect in a quiet part of Colorado Springs at the base of the mountains, literally right across the street from Straton Open Space for early morning nature walks. It was a close drive to all the popular attractions. Hosts Karen & David live on the property and were very friendly and helpful. The 1 bedroom cottage was perfect for a relaxing vacation. it was very clean and had everything you would need from the plush, soft bath towels, wonderful bath soap & conditioner and shampoo, and hand lotion. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great with the cool mountain breeze through the window. I would highly recommend the Bella Cottage to anybody looking for a wonderful stay wanting to wake up to the views of the mountains out your bedroom window. If we ever get back to Colorado Springs, we for sure would stay at the Bella Cottage.

Information update
I would not recommend this DUPLEX to senior citizens. The shower is in a claw footed bathtub …dangerous to get in and out without grab bars. There was no exhaust fan in the tiny bathroom. The information listing of recommended neighborhood breakfast cafe should reflect CLOSED MONDAY. On the up side…it’s in a quiet neighborhood, easy to locate, furnished beautifully and best of all..the bed was very comfortable.

Thank you for your review, Patricia. David and I were disappointed that we didn't have the opportunity to meet you during your stay. 'We're sorry that the tub was difficult for you - you are right - it is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. However, the tub is a favorite of our repeat guests, as it is truly a deep, relaxing tub. Sacred Grounds, the cafe located close to the cottage is closed on Mondays. . . we will be sure to notify our guests! We value your input, as it helps our future guests to discern what accommodations are right for them. Karen and David

Enjoyable!
Bella Cottage was a wonderful place to stay for us (a couple) during our stay in Colorado Springs for a wedding. Hosts Karen and David were in communication before, during, and after; and we especially enjoyed meeting and talking with David while there. The location was good for our schedule while in CS, and we would definitely go back there if our travels take us back to Colorado Springs. Highly recommend Bella for no more than 2 people!

Charming cottage! Great location!
Such a charming cottage in a great location. Very clean and well stock for all of our needs. Pictures don’t do it justice. Hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were visiting the area for a week and enjoyed all the deer that were not timid at all. Very friendly neighbors as well. We will stay here again if in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Beyond Charming
This property was even better than anticipated. It is literally one of the best properties we have stayed in. Our hosts swung into say hi and introduce themselves and to let them know if we needed anything. We of course did not as they thought of absolutely everything! The decorating was top notch, and it was so so clean! Loved the fresh flower touch as well! Just lovely! Thank you so much Karen and David for a lovely place to relax and celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary! Would definitely stay here again!!!

This cottage was exactly as advertised. It had a charming rustic feel, while being renovated with all the modern conveniences. The owners were great to deal with, responsive to messages, and had thought of so many extras. It was a wonderful get away and we would highly recommend it!

Excellent Place and Location
The property was excellent perfect for 2 people. Close enough for everything that you want to go. In the Winter time you'll see a lot of mule deer around 5 PM or so. Don't hesitate to book this place at all. Kitchen had everything a person would need. My wife really enjoyed the tub. Place was clean bed was very comfortable. I would have to say this is one of the better places that I have stayed at and I have stayed at good places.

Cozy and absolutely wonderful! Our time at Bella Cottage met our expectations and beyond!! It was so warmly appointed and its location to Garden of The Gods and The Broadmoor Hotel holiday lights was awesome! The cottage had a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, had everything we needed for our stay. and was perfect for two! Great cafe walking distance away with great food. Friendly host! Hiker's Paradise
Perfect nostalgic cottage built in the early 1920s but updated with all the necessary modern conveniences to make you comfortable and relaxed. The cottage is very charming, inviting and warm. Bella Cottage is an excellent choice for couples! The location is very close (walking distance) to our favorite hiking trails and also near our favorite eating establishments. The on-site hosts., David and Karen are amazing, friendly people and we loved everything about this vacation. There is abundant wildlife in the area including bear, deer, racoons etc. many eat from the apple tree just outside the bedroom windows.

Best VRBO rental ever
Husband and I in area celebrating 27 year anniversary. Both agreed this was the best VRBO rental anywhere. Pristinely clean, comfortable bed, adorable decorating, lots of extras included, shampoo, soap, robes, coffee pods, etc. A welcome and happy anniversary sign greeted us as we entered the kitchen to boot. Wonderful hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay in this cozy cottage. It was comfortable, very well-stocked, quiet, and impeccably clean. The hosts are wonderful as well. Super Nice!
This property was outstanding. It was laid out perfect for two people and immaculate. It was stocked with everything you could possibly need. I sits behind the owner's house. He was home when we arrived and gave us a warm greeting, briefed us on all things close by and ensured we didn't need anything. While there, we were upclose with wildlife that included deer, racoon and even a bear! The only thing that was a challenge was the parking situation. It's very tight. If you have a large SUV or extended cab pickup it might be a challange. Other than that...perfect! Thanks to the Schott's for a great vacation.
