Bachelorette Party

I hosted my friend’s bachelorette party at this property. Such a beautiful space and many rooms so everyone has somewhere to sleep. The little walk over to the lake is perfect, the hot tub is super well maintained and HUGE. Valerie was very responsive to my text messages about various things. Loved this experience and would recommend this house to anyone!

Girls Trip!

Great location. Hot tub/deck area is amazing. Walkable to beach. Upon our arrival, noted broken front screen door, torn screens on front door and back sliding door, some missing light bulbs or non-working lights. We rented in the fall, so imagine the owners are coming off a busy summer rental season and will make necessary repairs. Well stocked kitchen. I would rent again!

Great property and location!

We stayed here to celebrate my 60th birthday. This was a great property and location! Our group was 11 adults and 3 small children and the space worked very well for us. The large deck and hot tub are amazing. A large well-stocked kitchen and plenty of living space. The beach is across the street and a very short walk. Beach is so nice and wasn’t crowded at all. Both St. Joseph (to the south) and South Haven (to the North) are only a short distance away for shopping and restaurants and more beaches. Had a very small issue at the house and the host was quick to respond and it was taken care of. We highly recommend this property!

Great Family Escape Days

This property worked well for the 16 of us to have a full family retreat for a few days. The property was as advertised but with a few minor issues that were undisclosed. They did not make the property unfunctional or less so but would have been nice to know before arrival rather than by discovery after arrival. As a suggestion to make the arrangement of the property more clear, including the bedroom locations and bathroom locations would have been helpful. It all worked out but greeting the sleeping grouping figured out could have been easier knowing the configuration beforehand, The lighted path to the park was nice but again it would have been good to know beforehand that the beach access is through the park and involves a longish steep climb thru soft sand. Once there, the beach was fantastic! The XL hot tub was a family favorite!

Family Christmas Getaway

We planned a Christmas getaway to Coloma, because it was a centrally located place between my home and my kids’. Sleeping accommodations were perfect. We loved the hottub. Beautiful location near Lake Michigan!

Beautiful and Inviting (And One Suggestion)

The location of this beautiful home is convenient to many of the local attractions while being in a quiet spot away from the crowds. We stayed here during the 4th of July week, so the area was busy, making the peacefulness of this home a delicious reprieve. We especially loved the back deck, taking many of our meals together there. The lighted walking path to the beach was a treat, and the beach itself was a great mix of sand and pebbles. The climb back up from the beach is steep, so my 75 year-old mom only made the trek once. The rest of us went often and appreciated the sunset views. The only suggestion I would make to a guest is to bring washcloths and maybe an extra hand towel (or to the owner to provide more). We couldn’t find enough for each of us to have one to use. We tried to contact the owner via vrbo messaging to see if there were some we weren’t finding, but we didn’t hear back. However, that was the only time we had trouble reaching her. Otherwise, she was prompt to respond. Another bonus was the generous amount of parking and the use of the garage. Overall, it was a terrific stay!

Good space & location for our large family vaca! Enough room to spread out, for 5 family groups...loved the open kitchen-living room with the fireplace! Hot tub was also a great gathering place. Thx for the TV in the master suite! Host was great with communication!

Great stay, great hot tub

Three families got together here for the weekend, including 7 children ranging from newborn to 6 years old. The hot tub is very nice and this house is one block from the beach at Lake Michigan. The house was comfortable and spacious. Only addition which would have been nice would be traditional cable TV or satellite as we had some difficulty accessing local channels to watch sports. Overall, great experience, thanks!

Golden Girls bday reunion

A group of us girls took our moms (college girlfriends) to celebrate their 85th bdays together at this beautiful home! The house had everything we could have needed and we enjoyed our stay immensely! Nice private bedrooms for all, comfy beds, plenty of space for socializing and a fabulous large hot tub! We unfortunately did not have the greatest weather to enjoy the great deck and outdoor amenities but the house was well appointed and the moms especially loved the cozy fireplace! Valerie the owner was very friendly and helpful with any questions I asked and responded immediately!! Thank you again, Valerie!

A Lovely Time in a Lovely Place!

We loved the house, property, proximity to the beach and lake, and the Coloma area. We'd definitely have another yoga retreat here in the future! Everything was clean, easy, and accessible, which allowed a very relaxing stay. We are in love with this place! We highly recommend it!

Awesome family beach house

This house was perfect! It's such a beautiful, spacious home with the perfect location! I rented this house for my wedding weekend and everyone fell in love with it. Family Summer Vacation

Beautiful place to stay. We had 15 people there and the bedrooms and kitchen were well fitted to us. The hot tub, grill and fire pit were a large part of our stay. Meals were enjoyed indoors or out and we set up video games in the basement. The beach was perfect. Thank you for having us.

Wedding weekend

This house was absolutely fantastic as a "command central" for a wedding weekend! We had plenty of room to visit with family inside and outside. We had lots of family in and out to visit through the weekend and the house was very well stocked for feeding a crowd!! The hot tub is enormous and very clean. The beds were comfortable and we used almost all of them! Thank you to the hosts who were very accommodating, helping us to determine whether our elderly family would do well in the house. There are stairs to any bedroom, but the basement served as a wonderful suite for elderly parents who needed some quiet time away from others. The bonus room worked great for our 20-something kids who wanted to be together but also separate from us old folks. :) All in all it was a spectacular setting for us and we are very grateful.

Perfect Lake House for the Whole Family

This house was great for our large group of 10 adults. Very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms! Plenty of room to convene together or spread out for some alone time. The back porch was a fantastic place to hang, grill out, and make smores over the firepit. The hot tub was amazing! There were a few issues with the dishwasher but owner was very communicative and it didn’t disrupt us at all. My only complaint is the beach across the street has an impossible dune to climb up. Even the young adults in shape could barely climb it. The elders in our group did not even try. But we were able to spend some time at Tiscornia beach and went fishing at the pier. We caught several huge drum fish and had a great fish fry at the house. Quaint local shops and wineries at St Joseph’s made a really fun day. And my little cousin got engaged which made our trip so very special!

Wonderful space

This place was a nice location, near a small public beach. We had 3 families, totaling 19 people, and it served us very well. We really have no complaints. The house is very well-equipped, set up, maintained, and extremely clean. The large porch, deck, and hot tub were icing on the cake. I hope we can come again.

Fantastic Family Getaway

We had a great family weekend visit at this beautiful home. Check in was quick and easy. It was spacious and clean and fit our group perfectly. We were celebrating my mom's 97th Birthday and this was comfortable for all of us. The hot tub was sparkling clean and huge. Perfect for the rainy day we had. The beach is across the street and easy to get to so we included some beach walks too. The house came equipped with everything we needed to cook a great breakfast and other meals. It was a bit cold but we managed to sit on the decks which have plenty of places to spread out. We enjoyed ourselves during our stay and I would recommend this house for a great vacation stay.

Perfect for large groups

What a beautiful place! Nine of us had our girls’ weekend here and there was plenty of room for all of us. This house is well taken care of and very well stocked. I literally had nothing I needed that I didn’t find. Tons of seating for large groups. And the proximity to the beach can’t be beat! I would definitely stay again and would certainly recommend this rental property.
