Un espacio tranquilo y alejado del ruido, que era lo q buscábamos. Las plácidas noches, que, aún estando en Málaga, nos ha permitido dormir por estar en esa ubicación. Nos llevamos un grato recuerdo. Muchas gracias!

El alojamiento en sí está bien, algunas mesas aún tenían telarañas bajo ellas, dice que hay lavadora pero no la hay, los dueños viven literalmente encima del alojamiento, por lo que la privacidad es la justa, la piscina también puede ser usada por los dueños a pesar de que está incluida en el alquiler. Está bien como alojamiento para desconectar y descansar, los dueños son bastante amables, pero no es lo que yo recomendaría si lo que busca una pareja es privacidad.

El entorno de naturaleza agreste anima al descanso y la desconexion. La casa es preciosa, reformada, todo nuevo e impecable. La parcela preciosa y cuidada con mucho mimo y los propietarios excelentes, educados, discretos, y súper detallistas, te hacen sentir especial desde que entras a la finca. Seguro que repetimos lo antes posible!

If you are a couple traveling in southern Spain, you really want to spend time here! Especially if you want peace and tranquility. Everything is as beautiful as the photos. The owners live on the property and are very kind people who seemed genuine about wanting the best experience for us. They gave us total privacy unless we wanted to talk to them. The casita and pool are in their lush garden and the trees makes you feel you are all on your own. Our stay was 5 days and we wished we planned a longer stay. Without question, this was the best stay during our 5 week visit to Spain. Thank you so much Christa and Pascal!!Joyce and Michael, May 2025

Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von unseren Gastgebern, Christa und Pascal, herzlich begrüßt. Wir fühlten uns nach einem gemeinsamen Rundgang über das Grundstück, durch den herrlich, mit viel Liebe zum Detail angelegten Garten sehr wohl und zugleich sehr beeindruckt, auch der Pool in seiner Lage ein absolutes Träumchen, von den Liegen ein sagenhafter Blick auf die Natur und die Berge, genau so schön wie auf den Bildern: wahrlich eine kleines Paradies. Christa und Pascal versorgten uns mit vielen Informationen, Besichtigungs- und Einkaufstipps (in Alfarnate: das beste Brot gibt es nicht beim Bäcker sondern beim Metzger! Bei diesem gab es auch samstags frische Grillhähnchen, Christa war so lieb und hat uns eins vorbestellt, danke dafür, es war sehr lecker). Eine unserer Lieblingsstädte wurde Antequera! Ein absolutes Muss! In dem Zusammenhang auch der Nationalpark "El Tocal". Vielen, vielen Dank, merci beaucoup, gracias liebe Christa und lieber Pascal, wir haben uns bei euch sehr wohlgefühlt und entspannt und kommen sehr gerne wieder, es gibt ja noch eine Menge zu sehen und zu erleben! From arrival to departure we really enjoyed our very tranquil stay at this wonderful property. We had everything we needed and we only went out once preferring to enjoy the extensive gardens and the burgeoning friendship with Pascal & Christa who could not have been better hosts. If your looking for something away from the tourist traps where you can relax, relax and relax a bit more then book some time here.

Après un accueil chaleureux de Pascal et Christa nous découvrons la Casita Elisa. On s'y sent bien tout de suite, simple de bon goût ce petit nid douillet nous tend les bras. L'environnement est superbe, lovée dans la nature entourée d'arbres et de montagnes la Casita tient ses promesses. Nous avons profité de la piscine au retour de petites randonnées conseillées par Pascal. Nous avons randonné ensemble et partagé de merveilleux moments plein de sincérité. Pascal et Christa sont vraiment de bon conseils soucieux du bien être de leurs hôtes. Nous avons découvert Antequerra, le site El Torcal Comares, Riogordo et avons eu bien du mal à partir. Merci à eux pour tout.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christa and Pascals Holiday Villa, they are the perfect friendly Hosts. It is extremely comfy, spotlessly clean and welcoming. So peaceful, hearing the birds and stargazing. Excellent base for travelling around, with breathtaking views. Thank you both so much for making our holiday very enjoyable.

We spent a wonderful week at Casa Christa and enjoyed this lovely setting tremendously! We stayed in Casita Elisa which was very comfortable and well equipped, and had a great private terrace and pool. Christa and Pascal were amazing hosts and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to returning to this paradise in the mountains.

Für uns war hier einfach alles perfekt ! Schon vor der Anreise bekamen wir wertvolle Tipps von Christa und Pascal. Als ruhiger Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen oder als Startpunkt zum Meer oder den vielen sehenswerten Orten in der Region mit dem Auto. Wer einen wunderschönen ruhigen Ort sucht, wo man im Garten relaxen kann und diesen als Ausgangspunkt für alle Aktivitäten nutzt, ist hier genau richtig. Was für herzliche Gastgeber, die uns jederzeit, wenn wir sie brauchten, mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen. Englisch, Spanisch, Deutsch und Französisch, Kommunikation in 4 Sprachen möglich. Also wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

We had an amazing stay in casita Elisa. The owners Christa & Pascal live in the adjacent house and are always available for practical questions or a quick chat. Also, they really make an effort to make you feel at home and give you a lot of privacy and space. We found them to be perfect hosts. The casita itself is very well equipped and beautifully decorated with art from Christa. The many outside terraces give you a lot of options to seek shade and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views while enjoying a good glas of wine and a meal cooked on the barbecue or in the kitchen. There are many options for day trips to villages and cities nearby. Also, it's a good idea to bring hiking boots because there are many hiking trails starting at the casita by foot or just a 10 minutes drive away by car. Pascal was more than happy to help us with giving advice on good routes. The views of the night sky and stars by the pool at night were also incredible. We won't hesitate to come back and definitely recommend this piece of Andalusian paradise. Thank you.

Calme, quiétude, beauté, nature…tout pour se ressourcer tel qu’annoncé. If you are looking for a quit place to relax and unwind look no further! This ist he spot! The casita offers a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a beautiful garden, a very nice pool, everything you basically need for a quite vacation away from it all and close to pristine nature. Being tucked away from the main roads, noise and pollution it´s the perfect spot to enjoy tranquility and recharge. Pascal and Christa are great hosts, lovely, open-minded people and a pleasure to be around. Overall an unforgetable experience which we are definetly considering on repeating sometimes in the future. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderfully relaxing week here, managing to switch off totally. As so many guests have said, Christa and Pascal were perfect hosts being attentive and friendly, in fact totally charming, but ensuring that we had total privacy. Yes, the casita is attached, but we weren’t aware of the owners at all and were very happy playing our music and getting on with winding down! The casita is small, but we found it had what we needed for the stay and has a surprisingly well equipped kitchen. And as people have commented, the bed/twin mattresses are sturdy and very comfortable. The gardens are stunning along with the views and the local area is so picturesque, being an area of outstanding natural beauty. I particularly enjoyed the local people who were extremely friendly and welcoming (albeit the local towns are very quiet and you need to pick your times to shop!) We had excellent sea bass from the local fishmonger which we barbecued one evening. We were fortunate enough to be staying when Christa had a exhibition of her work on nearby, along with an evening of food and flamenco dancing at a venue that was as exquisite as surprising. Fortunately Christa had told us about the event and it was certainly an evening not to forget! We highly recommend this casita, off the beaten track, in a beautiful protected area, yet only an hour away from the bustle of the coast and beaches. And we hope to return again, now we have stumbled across this little jewel.

Christa und Pascal sind sehr sympathische und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Ferienwohnung ist hübsch, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub so braucht. Wer Ruhe, Erholung und ländliche Umgebung sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

Wir haben eine Woche bei Christa und Pascal gewohnt. Sofort haben wir uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Garten ist wunderschön und gepflegt, die Umgebung ist großartig, inmitten der Berge, Schafe und Pferde nebenan. Einkaufen kann man in den kleinen Bergdörfern in der Umgebung. Christa und Pascal sind wunderbare Menschen, die wir sofort ins Herz geschlossen haben, sie sind wahnsinnig bemüht, dass es einem gut geht und sind sehr rücksichtsvoll, einen niemals zu stören. Der Pool ist sauber und gut temperiert. Es gibt eine Tischtennis Platte und ein Petanque-Feld sowie einen liebevoll gestalteten „Philosophenweg“ einmal um das Grundstück herum. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% empfehlen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben es sehr geschätzt, bei den Eigentümern zu wohnen, dadurch hatte die Unterkunft eine sehr persönliche Note und ist definitiv etwas ganz besonderes!

Alex and and I had a lovely, relaxing stay at this beautifully located property high in the mountains above Malaga. The owners, Christa and Pascal, live on the site and could not have been better hosts. When we couldn't find the property on arrival day they went out of their way to offer guidance. We were welcomed with everything tired and hot travellers could want. Wine, beer and other treats were waiting. (As an aside, I would strongly advise visitors arriving on a Saturday to bring some provision as finding open shops on Saturday afternoon isn't too easy. Once you get to know the area, this isn't a problem. The property is wholly self contained and is well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom areas. We had extensive grounds to ourselves with a choice of places to eat and drink in the evenings. The gardens are well maintained and proffer much needed shade during the heat of the day. The alternative method of cooling off is a clean and compact swimming pool. Pascal always asks before covering it overnight. The area is what we call in Britain one of outstanding natural beauty. The mountains change hue as the sun moves from dawn till dusk. Evening in the garden here is guaranteed to relieve the stress of anyone seeking a relaxed spot for a late bottle of Fino. Internally, the property is tastefully decorated with some of Christa's own impressive photographs and artwork so if you want to relax indoors that is a real bonus. There are small supermarkets within ten or fifteen minutes drive and a restaurant at nearby Alfarnnatejo which serves hearty Andalucian mountain food on a balcony with stunning views. Seville, Granada , Malaga and Cordoba are easily reachable for days at a leisurely driving pace. All in all, this is a secluded, beautiful location with attentive, kind hosts who let you enjoy your stay undisturbed unless you need any help in which case they are always there, very happy to do anything in their power. As a final point I would only have one regret: that we didn't share some food and wine with our hosts earlier - we only got chatting properly when we were leaving. They are worth getting to know if you get the chance. I recommend this property unreservedly, especially for couples who enjoy the real Andalucia.

Wij sluiten ons volledig aan bij alle positieve woorden van onze voorgangers. Wat een fijn casita, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijke douche en goede bedden. Al leef je voornamelijk buiten in de heerlijke tuin of bij het zwembad, ook binnen is het prima vertoeven. Er is geen airco, maar binnen blijft het stenen huis lekker koel. De fijne en gastvrije eigenaren wonen geschakeld, schuin boven de casita. Zij respecteren de privacy van hun bezoekers, maar staan altijd voor hun gasten klaar indien gewenst. De weg naar de casita is een typisch landweggetje. Een iets hogere auto is geen overbodige luxe. Een tweede tip: ga dit paradijsje ervaren, maar houdt het onder ons :-)
