"La Encomienda de Oreja" Country House with Pool and Jacuzzi.

The rural lodging with a pool and hot tub, “La Encomienda de Oreja,” is located right in the heart of the historic center of Colmenar de Oreja, just a few meters from the Church of Santa María la Mayor and the town’s Plaza Mayor.

It is an old house that was renovated in 2020 to be rented out as a whole for tourists, preserving its architecture and traditional features as much as possible.

It can accommodate up to 14 people. It features three double rooms, one double suite, and one family room with two separate areas. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, a lockable door, a Smart TV, and central heating, as well as a heat pump. Cribs or extra beds can be added to any of the rooms.

The house features common areas including a living room and a kitchen-living room with a wood-burning fireplace and an oven, as well as a bathroom. Both are equipped with sofas and SmartTVs and open onto two interconnected interior patios. The smaller patio features a natural stone fountain and a small flower bed with aromatic plants. The large courtyard is flanked by a large clay jar, a porch with a wooden roof, and walls with a rustic finish of mortar and exposed brick.

Starting in August 2024, the small courtyard will be expanded to include a beautiful pool with a jacuzzi, where guests can cool off while enjoying the wonderful views of the bell tower, the hallmark of Colmenar de Oreja.
