Perfect respite for our large family

A beautiful, spacious apartment perfectly situated for our family. The washer and dryer were well utilized, and we appreciated the full stocked kitchen for eating-in.The apartment is well located, right in the center of town but still close enough to parking lots. We explored exclusively on foot.My only recommendation would be to upgrade the TV (at least in the living room) to a smart TV. We wanted to watch something at the end of the day and relax, but since none of us spoke any substantial amount of French, the standard TV offerings didn’t appeal to us. It would have been nice to use our streaming accounts.

Great property with plenty of space - close to everything we needed.

Overall this was a great facility! We stayed here with 5 adults and 3 children and had plenty of room for all of us. The living room and dining room was large enough to accommodate all of our needs and for meals and relaxation. Property is close to lots of bakeries and restaurants also which is nice. Grocery store is a 4 minute walk. Property overlooks one of the main walkways in town so it’s great to see all of the activity from the second floor. If you are going to stay here make sure you know where your parking garage is going to be as they can be a bit difficult to locate. Property managers are good help with this if needed. Overall excellent facility and we would recommend.

Wunderbares Colmar

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche verbracht. Die Wohnung liegt direkt im Zentrum und ist wirklich sehr schön. Hier und da wäre eine kleine Renovierung angebracht, denn an manchen Decken gibt es Feuchtigkeits-Schäden. Aber im großen und ganzen ist es eine tolle Wohnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Very Roomy

The property was as described. Very roomy and nice to have 3 bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking some meals. We found the apartment furniture comfortable. Plenty of restaurants and shopping right out your door. The weekend we were there it was very hot so we had to keep the windows open. That would have been fine but it had a lot of street noise up until 10 or 11. Then noisy early morning. Nice to be in town and close to everything just be aware of the noise if you open the windows. It was a little confusing finding the separate location to get the keys for the parking garage. Then you have to find the garage and then walk to the apartment. The apartment could also use a little TLC. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Huge but with drawbacks

Check in was problematic. First off very hard to find the apartment. Then the code they gave us was incorrect so we had to make a phone call and wait for someone to let us in and give us the correct code. Elevator was nice. Apartment was really huge! Now for the drawbacks: I hope this isn’t too confusing… One bedroom (BR to your left after entering) had a full bathroom with a tub with a handheld shower only if you were sitting in the tub. No closets. One BR had no full bathroom only a sink and shower but you couldn’t put the handheld sprayer in its holder because it was installed upside down so you had to continually hold it while showering. The 3rd bedroom had no bathroom at all; the shower and sink in the hallway. The apt. had 3 toilets altogether but only 1 en-suite in the first room to your left after entering and one in the hallway the 3rd adjacent to the laundry room! This apartment is on a very busy corner with noise almost all night long. It would've been nice to have air conditioning so we could've shut the windows and slept better. Some family members kept complaining about the cleanliness too!

Zuerst das Gute: die Wohnung ist absolut zentral, groß und auf den ersten Blick gut eingerichtet. Beim genauer Hinschauen mussten wir leider feststellen, dass die Wohnung dreckig ist. Als Beweis gab es jeden Tag schwarze Füße und Socken. Die Küchenschränke aber auch die Fußbodenleisten sind nicht sauber. Die Einrichtung sieht auf den Bildern mega aus, ist aber billige Ikea Ausstattung, die in die Jahre gekommen ist. Essgeschirr ist ausreichend vorhanden. Große Schüsseln leider nicht. Alles in allem war die Wohnung zu teuer für das was sie geboten hat. Schade! Der Kontakt mit der Vermietung war aber reibungslos.

Ideal location for enjoying Colmar

Ideally located to explore Colmar and the wider area. A clean, spacious apartment as shown in the photos. Just 4 of us stayed but it can easily accommodate more. Comfortable with plenty of seating and a well equipped kitchen enabling us to eat in as well as enjoy some of the many restaurants. An excellent boulangerie close by meant we could enjoy fresh croissants for breakfast and sample frequently the patisseries on offer. Being able to book a secure parking space, not too far from the apartment, was a bonus.

2 Weeks in Colmar

This apartment is well located in Colmar. We had a car and used also rented a parking spot from the agent. Absolutely plenty of room, quiet, easy to walk around Colmar. Also very easy to tour parts of Germany and the Alsatian wine route. A very fun trip.

Agréable logement

Très bien situé en plein cœur de Colmar à deux pas des restaurants, magasins. Quelques parkings et places à proximité. Beau logement, spacieux et propre en général sauf la vaisselle sale notamment verres , plats ... petit souci avec le code d’entrée qui s’est bloqué à minuit donc nous avons été bloqué quelques minutes dehors après avoir pu enfin rentrer dans le logement. Mais de manière générale ce fut un agréable séjour dans ce beau lieu que je recommande

PERFECTION!

The apartment is beautifully appointed with a fun mix of old and new furnishings. I'm a hesitant VRBO/AirBnB user, especially in foreign countries where language barriers would make resolving an issue difficult, but rest assured that this location is perfect, the apartment is exactly as described, and the owners are reachable and responsive. Within a one minute walk (i.e. steps away from the entrance) there is a Casino grocery store, a cheese shop, a boulangerie, and an ATM. Also within steps: an Yves Rocher cosmetic store, a Sephora, a bookstore, and countless shops and restaurants. You could hear a bit of street noise at night with the windows open but we found this charming, the point of renting a flat is to "live" in the town! Colmar is absolute heaven, like something out of a story book! Which is kind of is: we were told it served as the inspiration behind Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The owners left us a lovely bottle of wine and had a book filled with tips on places to eat and things to do, which we largely followed to the T! The covered markets are worth a stop, the tarte flambes (local pizza) were just beyond. Macarons at Gilg blew our minds, which really could be said for every thing we saw, ate, drank, and experienced in lovely Colmar. One tip: the apartment is an easy walk from the train station but worth it to spend a minute with a map because the cobblestone streets are so narrow we assumed many were just walkways and got a bit twisted while lugging our rolling suitcases! It was part of the fun, especially after we sorted out that the tasteful maps posted all over town double as free wifi spots. Just go!

Very large apartment, very modern.

Great location in Colmar with a very clean, very modern, and very spacious apartment. We were a family of 4 and could have easily fit a much larger group. Everything seems new and modern in this apartment. AC was provided via a stand-alone unit vs. being central air or even a window AC, but it worked the bit we needed. Location is a tad noisy if you leave windows open in the evening, but thats just due to it being central. Only slight issue is checkin and in particular parking is a bit like a spy movie. Go here, enter this code, get key out of lock box, etc. Its different for apartment and parking, and Colmar due to its layout doesn't make this easy. We found another family that got a bit confused and helped them out. My advice - read the docs they send you very carefully and you'll be okay.
