"I was looking for a comfortable place to stay with my son and his friends who were playing in a nearby volleyball tournament. The house was just as described and had everything we needed for cooking in, relaxing outside, and grilling. I was very pleasantly surprised with the neighborhood in Phoenixville. "We brought our 11 month old on her first family weekend trip, and this place was perfect. We love New Hope and know it well, and this was a nice distance from there to accommodate naps and doing some sightseeing. Super close access to the canal trails, and the most awesome porch. "Originally booked this location so we could take our 4-year old to Sesame Place (about 25 min drive), explore New Hope, and enjoy the pool. This was a great location to do all these things!It was not quite the vacation we were expecting when a severe storm knocked out power to much of the town, including the rental. Chip and Nancy went out their way as hosts to stay in communication about what was going on and even hooked up a generator for our last two nights so we could still use the rental....
