Loft 1 is situated by being tucked away in back away from the crowds & noise of Downtown Alexandria Bay & you can see the St. Lawrence river from the porch and if you walk just a little bit, you can sit on chairs by the river. "The house was large and comfortable for our group of 8 adults and 1 toddler. The deck had a great view of the water and all the boats/ships coming and going. "Check in was a breeze. Our host George was easy to reach and communicate with. The house is roomy and comfortable. It is close to shops and Uncle Sam's boat tours in Alexandria Bay. "We had an amazing time at the house! Stunning view and great sunsets over the St. Lawrence. We kayaked in the protected bay and made it out to a couple of nearby islands. We took a tour of two island castles, jaunted over to Canada for the day, hiked in the Thousand Islands State Park, and swam at the sandy beach at Grass Point State Park (with shorty wetsuits). An amazing vacation to close out the summer! Nearby towns of Clayton and Alexandria Bay were cute as well."
