Great stay!!!
Our experience in the hotel was great we arrive and the front desk people were really nice and the suit we stay in was spacious. The cleaning crew is really nice as well.

We stayed in a suite. There was a HVAC units attached to the wall in each of the units. Both were not weather sealed. There was a draft coming in from both the units. The hotel doesn’t clean the room unless explicitly requested. We were not told about it. Apparently, it’s mentioned somewhere key card folio. Parking and breakfast are complementary and room rates are quite reasonable.

Yes, you are correct instructions on housekeeping is both stated on the key jacket given to you which holds your room keys, and reiterated by the Front desk attendee while handing you said key packet at the time of check-in. The room and bathroom were quite spacious. I loved the Dove products in the bathroom. They had a very nice scent. Breakfast was also very good.

Nice and helpful staff. Super clean room. Bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever laid in! Breakfast is included, I stick with a healthier option - oatmeal, yogurt and fruit - not loving the other choices! But other than that I’d definitely go back. This was my 2nd time there.

I had a good stay at the Holiday Inn Express. It was quite convenient for a research trip to the National Archives. There is a major construction project on Baltimore Avenue making the entrance and exit difficult. During my stay, there were many student groups staying there on their visit to DC.

The staff was great. The hotel is quiet. Our only issue was that our bathroom had a sulfuric, sewer like smell coming from the bathroom for our entire stay. We had to keep the toilet lid down and the door closed at all times. We could barely stand the smell when showering!

The hotel and staff were very kind and accommodating. There were some areas in the room that were not "finished." There was an open hole in the ceiling in the bathroom surrounding the sprinkler. There was a dehumidifier in the corner of my room as well...that was not plugged in or turned on.

Not a very compeling hotel
Possibly one of the worst pull-out couches I ever slept on! The mattress was so old and thin and lumpy that I felt every single metal piece in the couch. Also, while the first impression of the suite was that it was quite clean, a few things came to my attention like a dead dry bug on the window sill (probably noone ever opene the first blind to see it), also the window paint seems to be recent, it was clearly put on top of a rusty frame (because it was visible). And on the sides of the couch, where people usually do not look but where I put the chair, there were mulpitle crubms. The fan in the half bath did not work and the light was very dim. We come to that area quite often for swim meets, but this hotel will not be on my list - the price does not match the offering.

Nice college town option
Busy college town with good location that is walkable to many local amenities. Breakfast was good, overall services good, nice room, we just had no control of the room temperature, which for us was slightly warm in our room.

I did not observe anything unique about this property. The blinds in my room will not come down and i cannot sleep with light in the room. I could hear all the conversation in the room next door to me. When , the occupant in the order room is opening his/her door, is like they are opening but my room, very scary
