Great stay in Colindale!

We had a lovely stay at the Blue Pearl in Colindale. It’s our first time staying in a manufactured home and we were quite impressed. There’s great light and wonderful views. We liked the comfy beds and refreshing showers. The trail to the beach was a great 10 min walk and so peaceful. We were a bit confused on arrival if we found the right place, but everything was as explained in the instructions. The location to Inverness Beach was about 30 min and Mabou was a short 5-7 min drive. We enjoyed traveling the Cabot Trail and gorgeous scenery. Had wanted to go to Baddeck and Sydney, but opted for a day of rest instead and revisited Inverness Beach. So much beauty in this area and seeing the gorgeous views from the deck was wonderful! Michael was very responsive and offered great suggestions for restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

A wonderful stay

This property was immaculate and had a lovely pastoral location with views of the sea. We loved the walking trail to the private sandy beach. The owner was quick to respond to questions. We had dear and bunnies in the yard each day and had no visibility if the other rentals on this large property. Highly recommend biking the Celtic trail with Mikes Bikes enike rentals. Also loved our hike at Egypt Falls and dinners and music at the Red Shoe pub

Fall Cape Breton Visit

Clean and relatively new this unit offers 3 bedroom and 2 baths with high ceilings and large outside deck. The host was very attentive and helpful. The only draw back was a perception that the cabin is close to the beach/ocean. It offers access to the beach via 5-7 minute walking path and the beach is sandy, wide and private. Overall lovely unit for entertaining and visiting the local Cabot Trail.

Please don’t make us go home!

One of the most important aspects of renting is communication with the host. Michael could not have done more to assist us in any way. He was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Always pleasant and patient. The house is well appointed on a secluded hill overlooking the Northumberland Strait. (Nature trail to the beach .5 to .75 mile.) The house is beautifully decorated with a clean modern look and has everything you think you might need. The kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances, dishes, etc. Bed was very comfortable. The deck was our favorite spot with a lovely view. It offered a large round table and chairs and 2 Adirondack chairs. Night sky perfect for star gazing. We caught several meteors. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet were close enough for some spectacular day trips such as the Cabot Trail. We enjoyed the small communities surrounding us. Red Shoe Pub recommended for food, drink and live music! My husband and I had the house to ourselves but it would suit a family as well. We miss it already!

Peaceful beautiful location

This property is quiet, peaceful and beautifully appointed. A short walk to a private beach on groomed trails makes one feel it is done only for you. Other houses are also located on the property but are out of sight from each other offering privacy. The house is comfortable with everything needed for the best of stays. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a retreat with easy access to the rest of Cape Breton.

This property is perfection, beautifully laid out with great attention to detail. From china to glassware to towels to utensils, everything is consistently high end. The deck view is magnificent (even on a cloudy day) and the nature walk to the beach calms the soul. In all, a class act.

Relaxing getaway

We recently spent 5 days at this lovely property! The house was immaculate and fully equipped. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening bbq’s on the large sun deck as well as the very peaceful private beach, which is located about a 5 min walk away down a pathway from the house. Perfect vacation getaway!
