"First time staying at The Crown Inn and I already can’t wait to go back. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. "A fabulous place to stay. We were greeted with a very welcoming pot of coffee after a long journey. We were told of things to do, places to eat but as we were going to a wedding the day after we couldn't do any walking. The room was clean and the bed so comfortable and lovely toiletries were in the bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was incredible, better than a lot of smart hotels we have stayed in. "Sadly this property needs huge investment. The whole place is really tired. There was no on there to welcome us and they hadn’t sent us the door code so I had to phone twice before someone would pick up and then had to wait for the owner to arrive to let us in, not ideal after a long journey. We had a garden room - which had thread bare carpets with stains on, the most uncomfortable bed imaginable and it just felt dirty.
