Quiet holiday after Easter
1 adult couple + 1 elderly grandparent. 5 nights stay. Enjoyed the house. Functional and some old charm. Sparse decor. We used the wide front deck because it rained a lot during our stay. Pleasant leafy street. Kitchen and bathroom more recently done up. Bring ALL towels and linen including bath mat, tea towel, hand towel, etc as I didn't think of this. Would stay again.

Heritage cottage Red Rock
Always an amazing couple of weeks visiting Red Rock. It is our family holiday destination every year since the 1940’s. My husband’s family have been visiting every year since his grandmother was around 10! It was our first time staying in the heritage house although other family members have rented the house in previous years. The renovations are looking good and was very cosy. A wonderful stay! We look forward to future years.

Quaint heritage cottage within walking distance to creek and beach. Dog friendly, and secure with plenty of backyard area for pooch to run around.

Great location
Nice little property and nice quiet, scenic location. The property was clean and tidy but could do with an update especially beds and lounge room furniture. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and will likely be back.

Stay in Red Rock
Mark has a nice home in Red Rock and we enjoyed our annual family reunion there again. Mark was very understanding and helpful when I’d made a mistake with our booking which we are very appreciative of. The house was mostly tidy, few issues with minor roof leak, cockroaches and uncomfortable mattresses, but the rest of the home was very comfortable and accommodating of our family. Mark talked about the upcoming renovations and l look forward to seeing what becomes of their home. We would definitely stay here again.

Heritage House Red Rock
Our family had a great stay at Heritage House (3A 2C). The house had everything we needed and there was ample space inside and out for the the kids to play and for everyone to spread out. The location is great. I highly recommend

Cute little cottage, close to beach and river for swimming, or walks over the headland to take photos of sunrise. Reasonable clean, has everything to help you relax on your holiday. Quiet streets.

Gorgeous cottage, comfy beds, beautiful shaded verandah and beach less than a minutes walk away
I extended my stay by two more days because I was so relaxed staying here. The house was built in the 1800’s which is incredible, it has everything you need for a super relaxed holiday. Mark is a great host and his communication is brilliant. We enjoyed swimming in the river, which was the perfect temperature and water like pale green blue glass! I did not want to leave

Lovely little Cottage, great location
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Cottage had everything you need, was a wonderful close location to the centre of town & all water ways. The owners were great with their communication & very accommodating. We would definitely recommend & come back again.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The house is simple, tidy and clean, and just a stones throw from everything… from the beach, the inlet and river, nature walks, parks and the local shop and takeaway.

Poor facilities, furniture uncomfortable and damaged. Mold in main bedroom and bathroom. Nice and close to park and beach.

A beautiful little home
We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. It’s heritage listed and it has been restored as best that it could following geographical relocation. While we stayed there was the beginning of flooding rain and the amount of heavy rain was unprecedented. This meant it was difficult to explore the surrounding areas because the beach and national parks were inaccessible. Even so we can imagine this could be a really idyllic location in dry weather.

Character House in Great location
2nd visit to this gem of a house. The house is a short 5 min walk to the beach and lake. My family spent many hours together on the front verandah under the lovely old tree. Great value for comfortable relaxed house. The dog loved too

Beachside serenity
Lovely little quirky beach cottage, reminiscent of a bygone era with some basic updates, & basic appliances. Dog friendly fenced backyard. Fans in bedrooms & air con in living room. All quite sufficient for a relaxing getaway & meet up with friends. Bunk beds out back only really suitable for small children, but not a problem for my visit as only 2 adults with a room each. Walking distance to all the charms of Red Rock's peaceful village, walking tracks, marshlands & beaches. Esp lovely kicking back on the verandah, with it's cool breezes, in the evening. This is despite the noisy lorrikeets feasting on the beautiful & shady acacia tree out front! The birds also like to give you an early wakeup, but that's ok as who wants to waste the day in bed when in such a lovely environment!? Good value overall, & I would definitely happily stay here again.

Best cottage at Red Rock we have had.
This cottage was perfect for us, great location, comfortable, clean & tidy and the landlord was obliging and attentive over a small issue and when contacted rectified immediately. Love this quaint cottage.

Not clean on our arrival but convenient and lovely location.
The house needed some cleaning on arrival as alot of the furniture was mouldy and dusty and needed cleaning which was very disappointing but the location was fabulous for a relaxing easy break. Fly screens at the rear of the house need replacing esp after so much rain as there are many mosquitos.

Great location. Unfortunately house not very clean.
Good location. But residence not clean. Dirty doona covers, drawers and cupboards very dusty and Had insects in them. Floors dirty and ace needs a really thorough proper clean . especially with covid ..dirty tissues all under bed on main room..not nice and sewer outside overflows into yard ..need gumboots Would be great if cleaned properly

I am sorry the house was not cleaned to you satisfaction and will ensure to address this in the future. Unfortunately the water issue in the yard is directly linked to the torrential rain this year and beyond our control.
