A beautiful location but felt the house was getting very tired, needed some work done on it and definitely some maintenance. We felt for the money it cost and for us staying a month we should have had use of one of the garages. Also the 2 windows in the living area should have fly wire screens as warm nights you want the windows open but you can’t as hundreds of bugs and mosquitos come in.The laundry flywire (security) does not lock(doesn’t work anymore) and we felt it should as downstairs.

Beautiful home, great location

The house was beautifully presented, exuding charm and warmth. We especially loved the ambiance—sitting beneath the tree with a cocktail in hand felt absolutely idyllic.Great spot!

New Years Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Hamptons with our three young children. Excellent, absolute beach front accommodation just out of Coffs Harbour. The front deck overlooking the ocean is amazing and we enjoyed watching the dolphins.The only downside was the beach is quite challenging to swim in. We will definitely come back

An isolated location

The house was located in a small hamlet with no shops or restaurants, making it necessary to travel by car to obtain provisions. On arrival, very few basic provisions could be found in the house. The house was on a beach which was difficult for walking because of soft sand and not safe for swimming. We enjoyed sitting out and watching the waves. The house was well appointed and clean.

Total relaxation by the ocean surrounded by nature

Beautiful property in a beautiful location, we had a lovely week with our family and fur-babies. We were lucky enough to see the dolphins and whales everyday. Sunrise and coffee on the deck to start the day was wonderful.

Winter break

This was our second stay at Hampton and once again , such a relaxing location. The view is breathtaking ,a very spacious house , yet still cosy. We lit the open fire this time and watching the dolphins playing in the surf from our couch was so amazing. Highly recommend it even for a winter stay

Anzac weekend

Great location and amenities. Listing didnt explain that it is not actually located on Sapphire beach. The beach is not great for swimming unless small swell and little wind. Also were not advised that beach access is now not allowed. But great views and an memorable and enjoyable stay regardless.

Hampton on the beach

We all enjoyed our holiday very much. I can't speak more highly about Monique and her husband. They looked after us very well and were very kind to us. The house was beautiful and in a wonderful location right on the beach. The only disappointing aspect was that for four people aged 80 (although fairly fit, still playing golf) there were too many stairs and only one bathroom on the ground floor for the three bedrooms. Otherwise full marks. .

Hidden Treasure

Location.. 10 out of 10, house was well equipped with everything we needed, amazing kitchen. Spacious house, but at the same time had a cosy feel. Felt like we had our own private beach. If i had to give it a negative i would say the house is getting close to needing a little freshen up on the inside ... Would definitely stay again🙏

its a very nice property.

it was a lovely house and we where very happy to spend a few days there with family, the house and grounds where very clean, the only 3 items that could possibly improve. The kitchen needs a plastic egg flip as I didn't want to scratch the frying pan. the entry steps need some no slip tape or sand and clear lacquer to prevent slipping in wet weather as my brother ended up on his back and the last one would be a better stick vacuum to aid in cleaning before check out. Otherwise we will return for sure.

Not good for older persons!

Arrival date 24/08/23 Our party was 2x87yo, 82,79 and 75. Problem 1 - This beautiful place has three sets of internal stairs but NO Handrails. None of our party wanted to risk an accident by climbing stairs without handrails – even to get to main floor there was a set of steps with NO handrails. Problem 2 – Hamptons is advertised as 3 bed 3 bath and one assumes not too far apart. BUT one bath/toilet top floor upstairs NO handrails and one bath/toilet under the house down a stairwell no handrails and no one wanted to risk accident which left us 5 people 3 bedrooms one bath one toilet - AND WE NEVER GO AWAY UNLESS WE HAVE OUR OWN BATHROOMS! We contacted Agent and found another 4 bed 4 baths around the corner and quickly moved TO "Zephyr on Sapphire". We think that whilst maybe advert is strictly correct in words, it is misleading, conveys a different picture and the agents/owners should indicate the real state of bedrooms and bathrooms here and maybe state that THIS HOUSE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR OLD OR DISABLED GUSETS. Of course if the owners were realistic and realised NO handrails might cost lost rentals and or accidents, THEY MIGHT ADD HANDRAILS TO ALL STAIRS. We had to pay full tote odds for the best house "Zephyr on Sapphire" highly recommended, so A PARTIAL REFUND WOULD BE APPRECIATED?

When you enter the front door you climb a few stairs and the home opens up and your eyes are drawn to the amazing view as good as any tropical Island the house is very large with 3 levels and plenty of spots to sit and just relax it would be great for large family or 2 familys with many bedrooms and bathrooms for all the beach is right at the edge of the property and rarely did we see anybody else while we were there Amazing and so peacefull very quite spot will deffinitly be back

Sapphire beach relaxation

The house had everything we needed for our entire stay and had a relaxing feel. Overlooking the beach was perfect even saw dolphins 10 meters from shore three mornings. Being pet friendly our dogs really enjoyed being here. The location was quiet with having the beach to only few people . The house was not to far away from town and handy to the shops. I would warn others during rough seas there is a very strong current along the beach to be aware specially with dogs or children.

Return to Hampton on the Beach

One of our favourite family holiday locations on the NSW north coast. And amazing property to relax and take in the morning sunrise and spend the day just watching the waves and the Dolphin's cruise past or get amoung the surf, fishing or beach cricket. Truely beautiful location and property.

Incredible Family Holiday

Our stay at Hampton on The Beach was one we’ll never forget! The property is incredible; absolute beachfront, kitchen (plus butlers pantry!) has everything you could need, bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Lots of lovely little details from owners and property managers, recommendations etc. And all communication with agents was easy and streamline. Will return!

Absolute bliss

This property was the perfect blend of private residence mixed with 5 star hotel services. Immaculately clean and everything you could possibly need. The beach is not a swimming beach but still perfect particularly in the cooler months with the indoor wood fire place as you watch the waves roll in on the super comfortable lounge. The fact this property is also dog friendly makes it the ultimate escape, you’re not going to want to leave. The only thing I would add to this property is a wood fired pizza oven. If only there was room for a pool & sauna!
